  • Seen almost every West End Musical and my recommendations would currently be;

    Sister Act - AMAZING! Can't praise it highly enough.

    Wicked - one of my favourite musicals.

    We Will Rock You - a long time favourite.

    I'm going to see in February - looks like I'm in for a treat :j!
  • I saw Avenue Q a couple of weeks ago and it's brilliant. Very funny, a bit rude but the songs are toe-tapping enough to have you randomly singing bits of the soundtrack after you've seen it. Highly recommended. It's only playing until April as well so I'd get in there quick!

    Hi

    My DD (14) loves the theatre and I try to get tickets every couple of months. Some of the shows we have seen

    Oliver - loved
    Phantom - loved
    Les Mis - loved, DD's all time favourite
    Avenue Q - very funny but hadn't realised how rude it was and whilst DD loved it I was cringing in my seat as was really not appropriate for her
    Fame - DD enjoyed but I wasn't so keen
    Blood Brothers - loved
    Footloose - liked
    Carousel - bit slow but worth it to hear Lesley Garrett sing You will never walk alone
    Buddy - Ok but my mum loved it
    Joseph (with LM) - other people have really rated this one but I didn't think he was very good.
    Hello Dolly - pleasantly suprised, went to see this is Regents Park Open Air theatre which is an amazing setting.

    There are more but don't want to bore you but anyone looking for a cheap show would definetly recommend Blood Brothers as there are always offers on this show.
