Thank you so very much Poppy9. I had to think long and hard about posting about my recent diagnosis because I didn't want people to think I was talking about it just to gain sympathy, but then hubby reminded me of the "community spirit" that is to be found on MSE. Its also not until these things happen to you (me) that you realise just how many other people have shared the same experiences and can offer invaluable support and advice.
