Buy a real tree - cut it in half - have two half trees for half the price of a half-tree...

  • See, I dont think £70 is a bad price.

We paid £60 10 years ago for our tree and it was a great buy, we always get loads of compliments on it and it's cheaper than buying a real one every year.

Skinty - I've got a couple of loose base sponge tins so will try the pizza thing on one of those....was also thinking about making tiny ones using a pastry cutter as a mould....they might look sweet.

Both DD's have lots of friends birthdays this week so I've been making sock monkies to keep the costs down.....a couple have already had monkies tho so we needed something a bit different.....we hit on "geeky wabbits"

What do you think.....we (namely I) put some lavander in too so they smell yummy.

So why don't you cut your current tree in half, and have a half-tree for the equivalent of £30..?

    :hello:

I am officially worn out......could sleep for a week.

Kitchen is 'nearly' finished. Floor needs to go down, couple of bits and pieces are wrong and the tiling needs doing. All that is gonna be done in a couple of weeks time. The house is covered in a thin film of dust.

AND there is something wrong with the fuses and the hob and washing machine keep stoppin working.....I am not bothered about the hob but I have no clean clothes.

BIL has gone home, rainman is going back to work tomorrow and I have to say I will feel lonely tomorrow night with no one to talk to.....
