Morning all

I've given up all hope of having a lie in - must be my age but when I'm awake I have to get up....most annoying.

Pap - Great news on your relative (sorry, only just caught up), would love to see your cross stitch....hurry up and take some photos. I've not done any for a few years due to my carpol tunnel....I do have a "tatty ted" one to finish for DD2 so might look it out and see if I can get it finished for xmas.

Saw "up" with DD2 last night - :j We loved it - so funny and so touching....I think it was probably aimed more at "older" children than it was younger ones tho.

What's everyone up to today then?

    I am going to attempt to tidy up....I have taken to wandering around aimlessly. Went out last night with OH and BIL and got a bit drunk, but as I have had plenty of practise this week I feel fine this morning, although I could have done without stereophonic snoring!

    I even ran to where I left the car last night. It nearly killed me but I am now having an endorphin rush.....

    Thanks *hugs*. Oh my cross stitch can be seen here, the bottom one I have worked on while on holiday so it a fair bit more completed. I will put a pic of that up on Monday :D The other one in the picture is the last one I completed and sadly the only completed one I have in my possesion :rolleyes: Ohhh good luck at completing the tatty teddy, if you take it slow you could complete it by xmas. Just stop if your wrists start hurting...

    I am off to Bath today so that should be fun, just been summoned to 'get ready' :rotfl: So thats me logging off. Have a great day all :j

    Hows the kitchen coming along Sam?

    I am thinking of buying my MIL a starter cross stich kit as she doesnt get out much in the winter, can you get really simple ones to start with?
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning....raining here so v miserable. Taking DD2 to the station in a bit as she's off visiting DD1 at Uni for a few days...they're growing up so fast.

    Other than that I'll be buying a pair of winter trousers and some shoes for DS. Life doesn't get much more exciting than this!

    Will be around later (and popping into the Arms for the weekly X Factor discussion).

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    :rotfl:not only have we ran out of toilet rolls we have used up the last of the kitchen roll and the last of a box of tissues..........cotton wool balls will be next if I dont get to the shops!!!
