    oh no lynz

will your bank do a mini statement over the phone for you.
why can't they tell you anything, they usually can see every single transaction of your account, even the pending ones.

they can tell me how much the transaction is, but not where from

I think ive found it though, seems as if the hotel i stayed in has taken it as a holding deposit, they are looking into it now.

on the plus side, Ive just paid off 15 off my b/card for the "free fags" thing.
thats coming off my sig right about now :D

Who took the £250? Omg! At least you are on top of it though and know that it has gone - can you imagine if you thought it was still there and you had spent it? Overdraft charges galore!

did the hotel let you know they were taking it? i thought they only took card details in case there were any extra charges. make sure they put it back immediately!!

Nope they didnt. Im trying not to let it do my head in though as the weekend was fantastic and it seems they've just "held" the money- seemingly to cover 5 days worth of accomodation ( funny as it was 100 a night) who knows eh.

Hopefully it will be released into my account later on today. thank god!
