Lynz you have made me feel quite inspired. Things are going so well for you at the moment. I think you are going to be debtfree very soon the way you are going. We are in the middle of chaos. OH has just gone to Ashford to pick up a new alternator for his van because it fell apart yesterday (he has been putting it off) and we have got the key to the new garage to take some stuff like the cement mixer and the scaffolding and loads of other sh.... over in the van today but it is undriveable. Dont know how much that is going to cost. The van we are hiring is £145. Think we are picking that up on Monday morning (Ashford again). And guess what, the boat is still sitting on the drive. A couple of weeks ago we had a massive row because he wouldnt sell the boat without having a photo of it with the sails up, which I cant do and no matter how much I asked him he wouldnt do it and he kept saying I was nagging him. He wouldnt let me finish cleaning it either, so I ended up saying that I was leaving it completely up to him and that if it was still on the drive on the day we moved then it was his problem. Well, its still on the drive and he has to drive it over to his boss's garden in Folkestone today where it will rot away. However, he cant even do that because only the van can tow it, its so big and the van is undrivable. Also nothing is packed because we've been chilling out and not worrying. Oh and he's also got to repair the central heating boiler and the shower, the boiler has not worked properly for a long time and the shower doesnt work at all. Sorry to hijack your thread but I thought i would just come on here rather than running around getting all stressed. All the stuff I'm responsible for like changes of address, banking stuff is all dealt with. However, our solicitor did not let us have the completion amount till Thursday even though we asked and asked and the Alliance & Leicester messed up our payment and so it did not go through yesterday. So we have to try to get it sent through on Monday otherwise we will be homeless. So thats how smoothly things are going at the moment but we shall still stop to watch England play this afternoon. Glad everything is going well and I hope you get some good news health wise next week. Dont forget to drink lots of iced water. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Lovely to hear from you
Cor it never rains but it pours for you does it? I suggest getting the telly on nd leaving everyone to it- youve obviously done your bit and everythings sorted so maybe its time to drink any beer that might be lying around in the house and put your feet up. watch the footie!!
I cnt believe this saga about the boat. Why dont you just put it up without the photo of the sails. I mean its obvious to me you dont know wha\t to do with your hubbys boat :wall: I cant believe its being left to you  and then the goal posts keep changing
Anyway, crack open a beer and let the rest of them stuff it for today. You need a day off. And its tooooo hot isnt it for stresssing:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Just adding my goals for the week here as well so I dont get distracted
I didnt do this last week, but had a productive week nonetheless
This weeks goals are
1. try adn coerce housemate into setting up smile account so we get free wine each
2. Sort out premium bonds
3. email work and get them to take the details again for my A&L account no to transfer my savings
4. sort out drs appointment in hope I can get back to work asap
5. take broken parasol back to tescos & get refund
6. Meal plan properly again this week
7. email pinecone about my password not working
8. post ebay parcel
9.if paypal payment clears pay of barclaycard & close
10. pay off 350 of egg card with lodgers money for paying off my sofas next month
11. do spreadsheet with all the details of my bankcharges stuff. *vital*
12. speak to solicitor re:selling my flat
that should do it - PHEW
Had a "ping" moment where I realised that the reason that OH might be getting refused for extra 0% credit is as he has the sofas in his name- but its for me to pay! So this is the priority absolutely, I have to get this paid, closed asap, so that he can get cheap credit to get rid of this scandalous cahoot loan.
ONwards & upwards!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
