got the freebie last night ;) It was 2 tix to go and see the LIon King at the lyceum theatre

If anyone is after a real treat for themselves, it is DEFINATELY worth seeing. All the better as the tix were free, me & OH loved it.

Apart from that Ive been literally run ragged and am hot and exhausted today as I have had to go and see the occupational health dr at work ( might need you at some point Mcbirnie on this one) and on the plus side trying desperately to come up with a plan to surprise OH for our anniversary which is tonight. We are off down to greenwich for the light show and something to eat, but tomorrow we are off somewhere very special.

    Cant wait :)

ooh nice work on the freebies. me and OH saw lion king back in April (we didn't get it free, but in next best DFW style, he bought me my ticket for christmas, i bought him his ticket for his birthday). Thought the staging was brilliant, esp the charge of the wildebeest / bison / whatever they are.

Yep, can recommend The Lion King. I particularly loved the opening of it to the Circle of Life. I won't give it away but it had me, my mum, my older sister and my younger sister all in tears as it was so emotional and uplifting. Really want to take the OH to see it but that's for when we're a bit more solvent.

and the hyenas rocked. So accurate, the puppetry.

if anyone is going to see it, or any other show, don't forget to scour theatremonkey.com to find out which of the cheap seats you can book which give you a good view, and which to avoid. it's really useful.
