    hi ya hun

oh dear looks like you are beating me big time! i spent another £4.30 last nite in our local spar (they had loads of things reduced to 30p and 80p! so now freezer is full to bursting!! he he)

glad to hear you had a good weekend, apart from the little blip -i think we all have those sometimes, specially when you have to come home and back to reality from a lovely break!

    xx

    hi sugar

well IM rather :( to be honest, just seems everything I do these days goes pearshaped.

Im still trying though but just dont have the get up and go I had a few weeks back. I just dont know whats wring with me ( nor do the drs but there you are) I just want to be my normal self, proactive, ambitious, upbeat. I just feel deflated and unable to think straight. After the good GP results last week, I should be top of the world, but Im feeling so in the gutter

Will try and muster a smile for you though hunny :o

    Hello gang

just another update from me :D

Life is Good :D In fact life is so good Im very very smiley indeed :D

Doing really well with my shopping budget this week :) at 28.41 and, we do have a fair amount in the freezer, so hopefully with a bit of clever planning we can try our damndest to hang it at around a tenner Dont a bit of easy baking this week with the storecupboard items :) which is great fun and helping me get more into the swing of things again as Ive just given up on OS a bit and I dont liike it lol!

Got my first mystery shopping assignment on thursday ( lunch for 2 in a pub- thanks to the other poster for letting me know that!) 17.00 to spend there, and a fiver for my trouble!

Only got a few more days till Lloyds default on my bank charges thing so 1400coming straight back to me for debt clearance! ( fingers crossed)

Then I can start with mastercard mwhahaha where I have about 500 quid for them to give me back. Got couple of bitty LBAs for 30 with smile from last month when stupid Screenselect took money they shouldnt, and 24 from an old student loan default. Every penny counts eh?

Health isnt great, I didnt get the result I needed this week, but it was cooler. However todays going to be a scorcher. Must keep cool... I am going bakc again to the doctors in the week, hoping for the result I need :)

My mates having us over for a party OH is djing djmixing.gifShould be top- and nice & cheap

Got a parcel to post at the post office for ebaying
Email today saying quidco is giving me £47- no prizes for guessing where thats going :D

Some more info coming to me regarding selling the flat, so Im all pleased with that, looks like it could be good news :D

Green metropolis & paypal money from last weeks movement hasnt cleared in my bank yest, but thats 90-0dd quid to go which will bring my blarclaycard about £35 off closing. As my monthly payment to b/card is 50 on a standing order, in a few short days by barclaycard will be closed :j :j the b/card is a special one for me ( ahhh, the memories) as I got this when I opened my studnet account with barclays in September 1996. It has a 350 limit on it, and when I graduated it went up to 550. and then reduced when I didnt pay things on time. For some reason this poxy card with its useless balance and skyhigh 19% APR has lingered round me like a bad smell for nearly 10 years.

LOdgers money should be in the account on the 1st- ooh thats today- bet it doesnt hit till Weds though, another 500 squid, which Im using as follows- Ill pay 350 off the egg card to put towards my sofa ( 800) due end october ( dont trust it in my current account)

With the remainder 150 I need to buy some fans for this flat ( no compromises here, its bloody roasting adn Ive been too tight to spend the money on them- impairing my health, silly really) and the wireless router ( as lodger keeps trying to se the PC during MY Mse time lol ) , of course I'll be geting them as cheap as poss/cashbacked etc then the change saved towards the sofas. Next month out of her money, Ill pay off the balance of the sofas thus beating that horrendous 29.odd land of leatherAPR which kicks in October.

And taking a whopping 800 off my sig :D :j

And best of all, Me & OH are happier than ever  He has had the lightbulb come on. He has moved half his cahoot loan to b/card 0%, he has got an A&L account through quidco with 40 tracked for opening it, ive "referred him" so another £25 each for that. Hes sold a few records on ebay this week netting him £50. There are more up there at the moment.

We have had a really good chat about the flat, moving, what we are going to do, so our winter holiday which is our bonus from the lodgers income ( well youve gott ado something to keep going ;) and have a look at buying some land with some the proceeds of the flat, abroad. It all seems so possible now, just a few short months ago it was all so intractable and impossible :j

and to any newbies who are reading this from the off, can I just say, stick with us, work as hard as you can at it, do whatever it takes, you will get there if you want it badly enough. I feel absolutely jubilant at the moment with the way things are going.

And I couldnt have ever done it without MSE and all you fantastic people here at DFW!

************THANK YOU ALL OF YOU YOU ARE ALL STARS ********
