Morning everyone
Lots of sparkly smiles cos it's friday I see.
I'm off to see Spandau Ballet tomorrow night. They better be good! Apart from that I shall be studying.
What's everyone else got planned for the weekend, anything nice?
Ooh fab, enjoy that!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Cheers Squizz, next week's fine.
There's less bones than I realised in chicken thighs, so I'll be able to make a little bit of soup or whatever in my mini sc. I didn't realise how tender the chicken would be after a night cooking, it was so easy to get the meat off (since notty's about I've had to think of a way of saying that without using the word 'bone' and saying something that could be misinterpreted!). So, chicken curry's portioned up, and mediterranean chicken stew is cooking now.
The weekend? Well, sister's thinking about making a flying visit to see a band tonight in Bradford, she's going to give me some of the money she owes me (6.50 of it, lol) so I can go. Other than that, study and housework. And more discovering the delights of the sc - found a couple of dessert recipes to use up a load of fruit I've got.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Is next weekend good for you? :rotfl:
Snaggs, could you say you're going out and get him to stick the wheatbag through the letterbox?
I tried saying no politely, but he is insistent, and is calling round at 7-ish. He wont be able to stop though as he is driving down south tonight, so hopefully I can hold it together for a few minutes.
Ohhhhhh cute puppy!! :smileyhea"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Mmm yum slow cooker chicken.. actually that's something I might do at the weekend, buy a slow cooker! Been thinking about it for a while and Mr Squizz seems quite keen to have one in his kitchen (well I told him how good they were but that it would be a waste of time me having one at home since I'm hardly there). Other than that got no plans really, will try to fit a long run in at some point.

Squizz, are you stealth-cohabiting?
It's not stealth if he gives you the keys and empties some drawers out for you to keep your clothes in, is it?
I do seem to be moving half my kitchen in though - took my blender round the other day when we were making soup and well, I may as well leave it there as I don't use it at home and it matches his kitchen better... :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Squizz, I got mine for £7.50 at Asda, bargain! They're back up to full price though now (£15). I'm loving it, it's so easy to use, and much easier to clean than pans and stuff. Just need to hope there's enough room in the freezer for it all, I think there is.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
