Morning all

Thank goodness its Friday, this week has been a long week, well it feels like it! B school has a staff training day today so no school, am taking her to a soft play place with one of her friends from school so that will keep them busy for a couple of hours! Need to pop to tesco later then having a nice relaxing evening me thinks.

Oh and its sooooo cold here this morning I might have to dig out the scarf and gloves brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Had a huge electrical storm here last night - lightening was flicking about all evening and then some very meaty thunder and lashing rain.....something very nice about being under the duvet just drifting off to sleep in a storm.

Going to wander into town today for a few bits, will leave DH to sleep as he was up half the night. Need to pay the bills and shuffle some money about and then need to make a start on some more xmas pressies.....

I love a good storm Pooky, don't think we've had one here for ages...or Ive slept through it!

B is loving school, and I am so amazed at how quickly she is writing, reading etc. Will be interesting to see how next half term is when she does 3 full days and 2 mornings..and they have to start rehearsals for the Christmas performace!

morning all -

well they say god loves a trier!

i tried to get up this morning, well i managed that part to be honest, drove into town to go to gym and swim (time permitting) and the bleeding place was closed.....

so i was in work by 8am and out of my gym stuff and into my clothes but i haven't washed my hair or nuffink... good job it's dress down on a friday and am wearing jeans anyway, so scruffy chic today! lol!

i did contemplate going for a run but i wasn't in the mood and wouldn't have had access to shower or anything afterwards.... so went to somerfied instead.

so as i say i tried!

had a phonecall from GM last night, well actually i called him, but it was pre-agreed... 7 weeks on thursday... sounds slightly better than 8 weeks yesterday!!!

I agree that it's felt like a looooong week.
Am on a week of ultra late shifts next week....at least I get a lie-in but still booo!

My brothers are coming over from Isle of Man today...bringing a friend each and staying at my Nan's...I have warned her of the perils of 4 13-year olds under one roof...but never mind! I may just order some prozac to be on the safe side lol

In ultra-scruffy mode today....can't be bothered lol

Morning all. Well done on trying to go to the gym Maz I had a run this morning, was strangely quite warm and lovely and quiet.. got that nice refreshed all clean and shiny feeling at the moment

Phew nearly booked £145 of train tickets and had another look and managed to do it for £66 which train and coach!!! Saved myself £79

I'm up but I refuse to shine....have emptied dishwasher, and am going to write up textual analysis and do some cross stitch (It now looks like there is a dog on it!)

I really don't think my OH has had his lightbulb moment, his Dad has just helped him sort his CC debts and he's just sent me an email with a link to a TV for £600 :rolleyes: will he ever learn??Thankfully we're not living together yet!

Not much happening here today, DD at school til 11.45 then she starts FT after half term, going to her friends house for lunch then meeting my Mum and going for a walk round the lake with the dog. Have promised DD a MC'D's tonight so I may have one too

Sally... DD is same age as B but she's not started writing or reading yet, it's amazing how different the schools are x

Eeeek......dilemma this morning. Mr Sunday has offered to bring my wheatbag round, because I've hurt my neck, but I'm not sure if I can face seeing him. We have been chatting online a little bit and I can cope with that but seeing him in person is very different.

Well done for trying to go swimming Maz, pity it was shut! Becky, get you, marriage proposals from strangers! Perhaps I should buy purple tights....not sure I have the legs to carry them off though. :rolleyes:

Training day here too - soooo nice not to have the school run to do and to have both kids here all day. Well, it WILL be nice, if Ryan ever gets out of bed!
