I have received confirmation from Butlins and yes "Animal12" whoever you are!! this includes the Bogor site also that they DO NOT INTEND TO HOLD ANY Ultimate BCM party at any of their resorts.
I would like to advise that I do not LIE also!!
Please advise of this venue, time, date and any further info that you have regarding this venue that you attended "3 or 5" yrs ago, I am sure we would all like to know the 3rd alteration to this event/SCAM!

I have also just spoken to Butlins-Bognor Regis and have been told there are no reunions to take place there. They gave me a name of Toni Hughes to call at BCM which she is not answering. My daughter is still getting phone calls from GHPE and is ignoring them. I don't know who you have been ringing animals12, but stop lying and get back in your phone box with the rest of your scamming scumbags.

I had a similar situation with my son and his friends, we rang them and told them they were all 17 we provided proof of this and then received an email saying the matter was closed. Ignore their requests.

As far as I know there is a difference between debt collection and court appointed debt collection.

Anyone can employ debt collection agency to recover money they believe they are owed, so GHPE could do this. But all these Debt Collectors can do is turn up at the house and ask you to pay the money. If you refuse, (or in this case tell them the payment is in dispute) all they can do is record the refusal and send a bill back to the issuing authority (GHPE) for their time. GHPE could possibly use this notice as proof of refusal to pay if it went to court.

Court assigned debt collection on the otherhand (Bailiffs) are assigned to recover debts on behalf of the court and are the ones you hear about 'taking peoples stuff'. For this to happen you will have had to go through court with GHPE - something I don not think they would do as it would cost them a lot - and as CAB told you they have breached even their own rediculous terms and conditions so would not have a leg to stand on.

I'm not a lawyer, this is not legal advice, just my viewpoint from what I have read around the subject (I'm in the same boat as you with this one!)

can i urge everyone that has been affected by this to write to watchdog please..
The more complaints against GHPE and BCM,the more chance we have of finally closing all of the distress that people are being put through.

Hi, my friend and I also fell victim to this scam on holiday in Magaluf in July.
We wanted to go on the bar crawl and were told for the same price we would be able to get a discount on the reunion if we decided to go, but there was no obligation to. We therefore naively (and not entirely sober) signed up.
Around two months after arriving back off holiday I recieved numerous phone calls asking if we were going to go. I explained I would be at university and thought it was unlikely we'd be able to go as we wouldn't be able to afford to. I then decided to ignore their pestering calls and eventually they stopped.
At the begining of November I got phone call off my friend who was very worried upon recieving a letter saying she owed however much money. She then rang them in panic and was told we had to go and had no choice so daftly gave her bank details to them agreeing to go in January (even though when we signed up like everyone else it was supposed to be in November).
On finding this forum with others in my position I started to do some research into it. I have also contacted Butlins, Bognor Regis who as before said that BCM reunion was not going to be held there. The lady I spoke to then gave me a mobile number for a "Toni Hughes" who was said to be organising the event. As a result my friend contacted the BCM reunion who said it was going to be held at Butlins yet had not been confirmed - I found this hard to believe as the woman I spoke to seemed dead set it would not be there and I thought they were leaving it abit late to confirm the location for such a big event. The BCM rep said we could cancel our booking for a fee of £45 each but is going to get back to my friend later this week.
I'm a first year Law student studying contract law and I will be taking the contract into my contract law tutor and lecturer at some point over the next two weeks to see how binding it is.
Just thought I'd let others know what I've found so far and will keep anyone else who's interested up to date once I've spoken to my law tutors.

Yh the same happened to back in the first week of june we were told that if we didn't go we wouldnt get our deposits back which was fine, Ive had a letter stating I owe them money I'm not paying it! .. also I have seen the CAB and they advised me there contract has been breached due to a wrong date on the top of it, and various other things .. I have changed my bank details so they can't get any money and if they call I'm just going to say ill see you in court as they don't even have a leg to stand on!
