:beer: yep you were correct, after speaking to senior management I have a date for the collection and replacement of the wrong model for the correct one !!

One thing for sure in future I will be making sure I check and check and check before placing a order for anything !!

Glad you're sorted. I doubt if it was anything to do with my suggestion. More likely the mgmt recognized that a simple exchange would cost their budget very little compared to ongoing hassle.

One thing for sure in future I will be making sure I check and check and check before placing a order for anything !!

Better let your wife take charge next time.
