I work for Orange upgrades, so pleased that I'm off for three days now and miss the iPhone rush!

Just goes to show, I was last in on Thursday and they had no idea when it was being launched. So first I saw of it was on here.
  • My upgrade isnt due til april and they wont let me have an early upgrade until Jan :(

Oh well, see what vodafone are offering then I guess.

Apple calls all the shots when it come to their device no Orange software or logo will touch that device, probably the only orange phone to escape all their nonsence . and apple will be handling all the aftercare unlike many of the other orange phones which you have to go to orange to get it sorted.

Don't know where you heard that, Orange have special teams in place just for the iPhone, they'll handle everything except replacing the device itself, which gets done by Apple

You may be right apple is like any other manufacturer
    http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9139984/iPhone_satisfaction_rating_on_a_different_planet_says_survey :rotfl:

Oh you didnt have to trawl thw interweb to find that for me :D

Its from Americans anyway, a whole different breed of people with a completely different outlook.

"According to ChangeWave Research, which polled more then 4,200 American consumers last month, 74% of those who own an iPhone said they were very satisfied with the device. Only 43% of the people who own a BlackBerry said the same"

I wouldnt trust anything they say, they think mcdonalds is the best food in the world, and thought it was a good idea to vote Bush into the whitehouse, need I say more? :D:rotfl::D

I like this comment best, it completely sums up an iphone user

"Why is this news? We've known for years that Apple users are from a different planet"

For those due for an upgrade on Orange, will existing customers be offered anything better than the prices Orange have published today?
Started comping for 2012. Won: iPad 2 - thanks SueMaggie; 10,000 Tesco Clubcard Points - thanks Maybe1; HABA Terra Kids Construction Set - thanks purplevamp.

Nope, all upgrades to iPhones will feature no loyalty at all. Which is harsh, but I guess in a way it means everyone can have an iPhone if they want one. All other phones and plans can still be discounted.

Now I need to find someone, who wants to do a straight swap for my HTC HEro next week, so I can get my very own Iphone :D

oooooohhhh nooo. it kepps twisting and turning!! i dunno what to do now. i just want to clarify that i have usually been more into how my phone looks than what it does. how sad, and i'm a scruffy looking b*****d...

all my phones have looked nice, and when searching the net i always checked their appearence over usage. then it was camera etc but now i just text all the time so i dont care muh for camera and filming. i just want one that works and if it does go wrong can be sorted very quickly and reliably.

  • Lets hope that Orange don't get the same problems as o2 with network crashing due to the amount of people using it.
