Make a start today! Join NaNoWrimo - it's November, National Novel Writing Month - you have to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days! That's 1,500 words a day. I'm a writer and I do it every year - I'll friend you on there if you like and watch your progress to encourage you. Take a look at the site. It started on 1st November, you are only 5 days behind - you can catch up.
Write the bare bones of the story over the rest of November. In December, edit and in January, edit - in February send it off to several publishers...who knows?
Sign up! I'll give you my ID on there if you PM me after you have joined.0 -
I know logic says that you can't know someone properly from just a thread but if you live near me I want to be your friend!:rotfl:
Your posts are truly inspirational and your attitude completely and utterly wonderful. You are now my role model for dealing with my own circumstances.
On a practical note definately go for DLA -there should be a local organisation that will help you fill in the forms. You have to fight them for it but it's so worth it cause then you'll get tons of other help and possibly mean your house gets sorted for you! Also worth speaking to the local family centre and seeing if they can help you access local/national grants for people struggling with finances-I used to work in social care and there are always local charities who'll pay £100 to get a new washing machine or similar. Have you spoken to your energy supplier to see if they can help? Lots of them have special schemes for people struggling.
Keep going girl and don't let them get you down. You can and will be get through this and you'll be the one richer for it0 -

HELLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Oh Peeps it has been such a month and I have sooooo much to tell you - but I have the school run in 15 minutes so this will be type n run until later.
Firstly - last internet access I had with the dreaded 3 was on the 31/10 - and about 3 minutes ago my brand spanking new Orange dongle went online like a dream (well pretty slow but at least I am online). If you work for Orange I Lurve you all - if you work for three, well
"I really don't care that you are going to "escalate this issue, refer it to your level two team or take advice from your line supervisor" - your service is pants!!!!"
And Breeeeeeeeeaathe!!
So excited I am on online.
Got loads to tellyou about bank, about house, about work - and even about the book (yes I have stared writing it - well I had to do something when I couldn't surf the net didn't I?????????)
I am sorry if anyone was worried, but we are all here and we are all healthy - everything else is sugar frosting.
Chat to you all later my online friends- gotta run the baby has just run past me giggling, wafting my least favourite festive scent "eau de nappy!!!" Don't think it will catch on.
