First post on Forum so BE GENTLE PLEASE ! ! !
I agree with other Money savers. always petrol thats cut never diesel. Also I drive a so called performance car and have yet to find any Supemarket petrol station that sells SUPER UNLEADED.
Anyone know the reason why ????
Thanks0 -
Put my fuel in at my local Morissons this morning.
They do every type of fuel uncluding Super Unleaded.....
Hope there's a Morrisons near you !!0 -
needed to fill up so jumped in the car to morrisons only to find that the diesel hadn't budged . not a happy cookie
Rediculous. Here I am having sold my petrol car in order to save a few pennys a week by using diesel and yet the supermarkets here are litterally encouraging people to use petrol instead of diesel !!!! Aaarrrggggggghhhh!!!!!
In reality they should be reducing diesel INSTEAD of petrol as it would lead to cheaper distribution of goods and more money in everyones pockets.
Ideally though, the goverment should stop taxing biodiesel and encourage people to use enviromentally friendly fuels such as that.0 -
Having read all the comments regarding price of diesel compared to petrol etc, and how angry you seem, I cannot help but wonder why you are not faxing your MP to complain about this contradiction. If the government are so keen to improve our environment, why does this inconsistency continue?
I would really like to get all your comments together and bombard my MP, but as this violates copyright, I can’t.
So for goodness sake, throw all you disgust at your MP at - Fax Your MP.

I remember being a kid and fuel being about 56p a ltr, them old days where you got Green Stamps each time you went to the Burma garage....
Oh the days..
I do alot of miles each weekend, mainly a weekend commuter as of being in the HM Forces..so to now be able to get cheaper petrol is good, but their are many single garages that are selling fuel for 85p a ltr for petrol...now these are the ones that should be dropping the fuel..
I think we need the fuel protests again, everyone stock up..and do it again..0 -
Diesel - I'm furious
I've e-mailed my MP along with Asda (via their web site at asda.co.uk and tesco at customer.services@tesco.co.uk.
Maybe if enough folk contact them, especially if we threaten some customer disloyalty, they may just respond.0 -
I agree as a diesel driver we should not miss out on this reduction! don't think it is worth getting in touch with the MP though, they are all a waste of time. Will email Tesco, Asda etc as they need to realise that they are losing out, there are loads of diesel users out there. >:(0

It could be worse...
Tesco and Sainsbury in Northern Ireland are refusing to lower their petrol prices because we don't have Asda here.
Absolutely disgraceful. >:(0 -
Come on you Supermarket and Mainstream Fuel Suppliers (ie BP, SHELL, ESSO, TEXACO etc etc etc) ! How about looking after those of us that have changed to Diesel Cars ?!!! We're paying well over the odds ... Any comments ? >:(No reliance should be placed on the above.0
