Why is it that only petrol prices drop and not diesel. If diesel is cheaper to produce because its less refined it should be cheaper in the first place. Is it because more diesel is being sold than petrol hence more profit ? ???0
-
I agree about diesel. I once audited a petrol distributer's accounts and discovered 2 my horror that it was on diesel that they made their money. It's a rip off and its Jo public who pays through higher freight transporting charges = higher prices in the shops!!0
-
has diesel gone down at all?NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0
-
Diesel does'nt seem to have gone down at our local Asda, only petrol.
A lot of filling stations sell 'Low Sulpher', and 'City Diesel' now, they are supposed to be better for the environment, but not so good for your engine
- but this Evil Government does'nt take less Duty on them!!!

With typical timing, I filled up my Freelander at Tesco's, jumped back in the car and then heard the report about Asda's. I hope this doesn't set the tone for my luck in 2005!!0

needed to fill up so jumped in the car to morrisons only to find that the diesel hadn't budged . not a happy cookie0
