postmen are filth. greedy hateful filth
That's a bit harsh.
I like my Postie.....I know he spends more time trying to chat up my wife, than he does delivering letters, but I still like him.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

Or just sack the guy that done the future fuel price purchase deal..Not Again0 -
Ah yes, if ever there was a case for sacking someone for shocking performance the BA fuel deal would be it.
BA will be fine in a couple of years time as the business is fundamentally sound. Just a very slow time for the whole industry at the moment.0 -

Next will be BA. A company that has just lost 400m. They will demand that no one is sacked and that wages go up, despite the 400m loss.
Do you actually like any sector of society?
From your posts, it seems not!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
i like the self sufficient sectors. the sectors that don't bleed me dry.0

I don't disagree, but..i'm trying to follow the train of thought through.
If royal mail put prices up to stop this ''subsidy'' and private sector ''gets real'' and covers it, prices go up for everyone using the private sector and posties get...more money but evrything in life is more expensive....Or not?
(lir doesn't have a clue.) 0 -

RM putting its prices up is one thing
the regulator raising downstream access prices for competitors is another
no point raising prices and allowing competitors to undercut you by more and getting you to deliver the mail anyway0 -

Pot and kettle.
Can you not see how blinded you are? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
I heard a postie on the Radio this morning saying...
"it's not like we work in a factory or summit, there ain't a bell that goes off at the end of the day, we have a job to do and we have to do it till it's finished"
Although, not today or tomorrow apparantly.
true lol there is no bell!
in many ocassions , the bell rings, i run to the door, to find a red letter ''sorry you were out'' , i get outside and no postie to be seen!!!!!!!!!
ps;
im lightweight and can run faster than a postie so no delay of me opening the door, our house is far too small, and whne we go to collect at local depot , they say ''royal mail hasnt delivered it yet here ''
what a bunch of posties! not a big simpathy for alan crozier, but i wish he hires these 30 000 temporary staff forever .
i selfemployed and with no pension, i can finish even at 11 am but the posties are fuilly employed, want to finish at 12 am and get full pay,,, i think they are used to this culture for a half century now and cant accept that modernisation is on the doorstep0 -
