    Hello Everyone

I have some pairs of socks and some gloves that I'd like to use in a cake, but has anyone got any ideas on how I can roll them or display them? I've tried various ways, but they all look naff I think - LOL

I have orders for 16 £10 at the moment so busy busy. They do sell well though.
Sally did I see that you have found a supplier for your towels - if so can I be really cheeky and ask where you got them ;)
I have been getting them from Asda in the offer?!

Don't know if this will work in the design of your cake but how about making the socks into cupcakes? The glovs might work as a cupcake too actualy or a flower/rose?! HTH x

Love the Thomas Cake too Sally :T,

I still haven't received the towels for the one I have on order  I have been waiting over 2 weeks now, I ordered them off ebay personalised embroidered ones, a set of Thomas and 2 sets of Tinkerbell ones for the cakes on order. They had better hurry up and arrive soon!!!

    Hi Carlymummy

    Thanks!

I love making them too and I'm hoping to sell some at an upcoming Xmas fair, as I was thinking that if I don't make the most of it before Xmas, then I probably wouldn't get many orders after Xmas?

I was using the Asda towels too before now, but my OH has some contacts in the business and can get cartons of towels in bulk! They're Turkish cotton and 500gsm, so nice and fluffy like the ones you get in hotels. I was thinking that if any ladies on here wanted to use thicker towels, perhaps for a special wedding cake, or for a special occasion, or for some of their more expensive cakes, then we could have shared a bulk order.

Where are you sourcing all your ingredients from for your pamper cakes, and what you putting into them?

    Aweee, bless her Craftgranny,

That Thomas cake is soon to be heading to Shropshire, it's a pressie for a 2 year old's birthday. I'm sure you could make her one though? lol

  • Don't know if it's any use to anyone but popped into netto earlier and they had travel size bottles of dove bodywash for 19p thought they might be good in a pamper cake. 3 diff colours available . pale green, lilac and burgandy .
