    SallyUK they are gorgeous!! I love the blue one too, where did you get the blue decoration on the front of the cake please. They are deffinately worth £10.

    Irishgirl that sounds a really good deal. Asda bath towels are 2 for £6 and hand towels 2 for £4 they do wash up really thick.

    Thankyou! The blue decoration on the front of the blue xmassy cake came from The Range too, they've got beautiful decorations in there and so many different colours too!

    wow, chatty and sally I love the cakes!! I am patiently waiting till tues (pay day) to get some more towels and blankets to make slankets and was going to do them up as cakes for my four kids for xmas

    chatty did you print the ribbon yourself?

    i had a go there printing onto the ribbon it dont seem to work for florist ribbon as the ink on it does not dry. on ordinary cotton twill ribbon it works.

    No Irishgirl. like you I tried but I failed so i had to order this ribbon from ebay. I didn't think it was too bad at a fiver for 5 metres. I odered more than I needed for the actual cake but will be using it on the cello wrapping too as this is for a close relative..
