The smart price ones from Asda are awful, but they're better quality towels are quite nice.

Dunelm have nice quality towels, but a bit more pricey.

Depends on what you like really, I like towels that are good quality and use ones for my cakes that I'd like to get myself.

Where is the best place to get cheap/good quality towels from. The asda towel bale I brought is not that good.

I buy my towels from Primark, and find them really good quality. A hand towel costs £1.50, bath towel £3, that is for the cheapest range, they also have a luxury range, but I find thats a bit expensive for me.

Thanks girls the bale from asda was cheap, I suppose I should remember what my Dad always says "you get what you pay for" lol. I brought it just to experiment with so it did serve it's purpose! Can I ask you ladies if you use pins to secure the back?? Do any of you do nappy cakes, I was wondering which were your better sellers -towel or nappy cakes?
Can I also ask how you get your sales, I have a facebook page but was also thinking I need a website??

M & S essentials towel bales are really good. They are £7.50 but I've bought them for £5.40 previously in their sales.

    Hi Kelly

I do more towel cakes than nappy cakes, I think!

Word of mouth works best for me, although I do have a blog and a website.

    Hope that helps,

    Sal

Hiya I use Primark but the more expensive ones as more fluffy an roll/fold better , then use a diamonte pin ( florist shops has them) to hold together
Towels work out £8 for 1 bath and 1 hand towel

Hiya thanks for that I will have a look in primark and I will have to get some pins.

Has anyone got any tips on making a towel cake with just one towel. I brought an england towel and some bits to make a cake but no matter how I roll it it is too small. HELP !
