Noah & the Raw Chicken Wing!

Mine always take them somewhere (have caught on to ways to direct this to be where I want them to be...roughly.
) I think its part of the ''fun''. After all, hunting is not a static activity either! I'm hapy to keep putwitting mine but let them take the wings ''away'' as thats what they like. (in fact the same desire not to interfere with anything behaviourally normal is why I decided not to continue toilet training them: they have a ''need'' to scratch, possibly to feel clean, and cleaning a litter tray is hardly arduous.)

35 minutes! Paddy is such a hog he can chomp his way through a whole wing in a couple of minutes. My cats do all like to drag special treats away from the regular feeding zone. Funnily their favoured spot is under the dining table, very civilised. Paddy does this really funny manoeuvere where he lifts his chin really high so he can carry rather than drag the booty, and kind of trots to his hiding spot....where he makes happy growling noises. Ahh0

I give mine their wings today. The boy has had them before so it was a case of setting about it with lots of happy nnngh, nnngh, nnnghs as he chewed it up.
The girls have not had wings before and were very puzzled. They licked them, chewed them a bit then both sat and watched the boy eat his for a while before deciding that they would prefer something cooked and already chopped into nice bite sizes please.
:rolleyes:My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Hey FF me again

Well we got some chicken wings today, hubby put 1 in each bowl and candy prodded hers and then walked away but cookie picked hers up and took it into their room and ate it on the back door mat. Every time candy when in to see what cookie was doing she growled at her :rotfl:
So 1 loved it and the other wasn't too sure, i also now have to put the back door mat in the washing machine "I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. I said to a friend, 'Just keep your fingers crossed that I get lucky again tonight!' Realizing what I said, I tried to correct it and said, 'No, I mean, I just hope that I get some tonight!' After that, I decided to shut up."0 -
Glad to hear Cookie enjoyed her chicken wing!
Are you going to try Lostinrates trick of chicken-on-a-rope with Candy?
Noah had a few Smartprice prawns today as a treat, and was purring away again! He also scoffed the fish Orijen that I got as a freebie, even though it smells awful.

noooooooo, i am hoping that she will just copy cookie eventually as they do tend to copy each other a lot of the time. next time i will cut slits in the skin so she can see the meat and see if that makes any difference..
also got some bozita today but not tried it yet, got chicken pate, chicken liver chunks, turkey chunks, plaice pate"I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep.
