So these are no longer trading, the website has been down for ages and I have not received any mags or emails from them. Not that I am complaining, the company is rubbish!

I originally joined on the premise of getting a free ipod, no such luck!

I didn't have any problems with the company as such, but found them over priced and it was a pain having to order something every 3 months, just so they didn't sent you the recommended item.

Would much rather use site like Play, Zavvi and Hmv where you can order when you want and not be committed to anything.

They were on Watchdog a couple of week ago. The company may have stop trading but the administrators have set debt collection agencies on the loose and in the case of most of the people featured on Watchdog they didn't actually owe any money when Brittania went belly up but unfortunately the debt collectors are working purely from a list of people and what they supposedly owe and not a breakdown of why they owe that or what it's for.

It's kind of worrying that a company is SO bad that it's still causing problems for people AFTER it's died.

Whoops - spoke too soon! Last threatening letter received was September, 2006, and yes, getting on for 2 years later up they pop again! This time the debt collection agency (what debt?) is called Intrum Justitia. If any of you have received letters from this outfit just pop the name in the forum search and see what turns up. Same advice as before - don't pay a penny.

That's what the Watchdog programme that I referred to earlier was about. I think they mentioned something like 20,000 people on their (the DCA) list that they're getting around to.
