I agree, if these people were to win the lottery, they might have better living conditions to an extent but they wouldn't have a better quality of life IMO. They'd still be scruffy, they'd still be lazy, still show no respect for anybody.

You know I know that Tyrone is a lazy little layabout but I can imagine he does feel quite trapped, even if he wanted to make his life better, how could he? I'm not saying he does but he didn't seem very happy then.

In those families where the kids aren't signing on, the mothers don't get benefits for those kids, so they're missing their appointments, not getting their dole and their mum's still feeding/etc them.
