What power all they do is control there own selling platform. Its not like they start wars or anything 0 -
I thought we all had to offer free P&P for books as the first option or have I got this wrong. Are a few books I wanted to buy off a particular seller, small light paperbacks, but has put his first option as freight with P&P per book £3.50 so for postage alone would have to pay £17.50 when in reality the 5 books combined would cost less than £4 to send!!I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

It is shameful the way some companies control their own interests and try and maximise profits:rolleyes:

There seems to be some people who have the opinion that Ebay is or was a co-operative. It never has been and never will be. Its just a website that has a selling platform, use it and pay for it or don't..0 -

Personally I would just avoid a seller like that. However he is entitled to use freight but if he uses Royal Mail then he is in breach of Ts and Cs. If you have a throw away account it might while away a few minutes emailing to ask which freight company he is using as you can't find anything that cheap and would be interested to have a link to his courier so you can use it to.

Slightly off topic, but anyone also noticed that sellers now can't leave neutral or negative feedback for buyers anymore. But buyers can for sellers!
I had a non paying bidder for 5 books, no reply to numerous emails over last 4 weeks so I opened a case. Got a final value fee rebate straight away but can't leave negative feedback to warn anyone else they're a time waster.
Yet more evidence that eBay is becoming biased against sellers.0 -

That was brought in 18 months ago!
Totally pointless anyway a NPB strike far more useful after 2 as most people have there preferences set to stop bidders with 2 or more. Leaving feedback for abuyer doesn;t really help if they snipe or its a buy it now0 -
Didn't even know you could stop bidders - except by specifying the region you'd post to! Learn something new every day!
And since the 5 books were 5 separate cases, I guess it's 5 strikes.0
