So ever time the price of fuel goes up, do you complain?
When the TV licence goes up, do you complain?
When car insurance goes up?
When house prices go up?
The price of bread?
Businesses change pricing all the time, and they're not always reductions.
I don't work for ebay, but I do make ebay work for me. And it it works very well, regardless of what changes they have made so far.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

As I said earlier, you seem to have missed the reduced charges. So where you were paying (IIRC) 35p and 50p for listings up to £4.99 and £14.99 you are now paying 10p and the 15p for gallery is no more. Its swings and roundabouts, work within Ebay or don't work with Ebay, simples:rolleyes:.0 -
Random thought: disable the Relist function for items under £1 that dont sell. Business sellers that start low usually sell for more or at least sell for start price so it wouldn't affect them (keep the 'Sell Similar')...but it might put off people endlessly listing things that just don't sell. Yes, it MIGHT sell eventually but if you can't be bothered to re-do the listing you don't need the money or the space the item takes up: as someone else said, give it away or bring it to the charity shops instead. (Feel free to point out the flaws but don't insult...its just a thought!)0

You can take legal proceedings out on whoever you like whether you win is another matter.
What would you be taking them to court about?0 -

The price of Tesco noodles recently went up too- I might sue them for making my bill higher :rotfl: This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

Depends on why you'd want to and whether you have a case... but I'm guessing you're more likely to win through a small claims court. Might not be worth their while to contest your case so vigorously.0

Maybe we should do a class action against Tesco's then:rotfl:0 -
Just thinking power in numbers and all that. I'm in the mood for a fight and am sick of the amount of power ebay has.
Thats discusting about Tesco noodles. Might have to wear a big jumper when I go there next, and borrow their electric disability scooter, scoot in, and scoot out.Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.

If I were going to waste my time taking a frivilous legal action against a big company I would do it for something that mattered, like the price of gas or care home fees for the elderly, things that actually matter.
I can't honestly say I care one way or another about what ebay do, if it becomes too difficult for me to sell on it then I'll stop, simple.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
