It seemed to sum up how I'm feeling. It hasn't quite stopped raining yet but the sun is coming out."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Afternoon everyone. Am about to go wake Evie up so I can give her a drink of milk then go and buy as many Yorkshire Evening Posts as I can. Apparently, she's on page 17!!!
I had my meeting with work this morning and didn't get chance to speak with manager about secondment BUT have hopefully resolved many of the issues faced by my colleague and the woman who's looking after my job in my absence:D. It was a lack of communication and not malice but many cracks smoothed over - hopefully until I return in February! Cos I had to get there 8.30 I used it as a trial run for when I do return and even though I got up at 6.40 and managed to leave the house at 7.45, I think I'll need to be start my day 30 minutes earlier so that I can drop her at the childminders and be on my way by 7.30. I'm not looking forward to starting work at 6am:eek::eek::eek:DFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debtnever attribute anything to malice which can be adequately explained by stupidity, [paranoia or ignorance] - ZTD&[cat]

snaggs, I used to think my life was like a rollercoaster in all ups and downs with very few periods of being on an even keel. Now I realise that the even keel is there just to let me take stock before I get on the rollercoaster again and enjoy higher climbs and deeper drops. I often wonder (usually at 2 or 3am) if I'm destined to end up with a bipolar disorder where life's either up, good and manic or down, naff and depressed!
It's only cos I know that the down time is fleeting and I'll soon be on another high that I'm not overly worried about the downs.
