Cat - well done on getting things sorted at work, hope that means you can enjoy the rest of your leave a bit more now!

Think you are right about the rollercoaster - I think maybe I crave the excitement because the last couple of years of my marriage were very flat, and I felt like the life was draining out of me. I was bored and hated acting like I was 60 not 30 (-ish :shhh:). I've probably swung too far the other way now, but gradually I'll make my way back to the middle and will find a healthy balance.

Love the gloves Becky, verrrry cute.

  • I really need to get on with ringing the doctor's in a minute but I can't get up the energy to do it. It's freezing, the heating's not due to come on until 7 and I'm not sure I can justify having it on early three days in a row. Maybe I'll get a cup of tea...

I can't believe I have just done an online food order for Christmas...and only 1 slot left on 23rd nothing on 24th  At least it means I can go back and amend it between now and then but won't have to worry about battling my way to get everyday veg...I hate it at Christmas!

You can do it Kayleigh. Get your cuppa, get the phone and do it now, before they close for the day. Think how nice it will be not to have it hanging over your head when you go to sleep tonight. :)

I thought I was organised, but looks like there are lots of other people more organised than me that got in there already and got the Christmas eve delivery slot!

So you will have painted windowsill and done your food shopping for christmas :) Good day all round snags!
Will you have the kids on Christmas day this year?

Thanks for the push, I've just called them and it sounds like they're going to give my new surgery a bit of a b0ll0cking for being so awkward. I think I might wait until the end of the week to book an appointment, give things time to calm down. Besides, I've got uni work to get on with in the meantime.

Back from the post office, the book was over £1 more to post than I calculated, my own fault for changing how I packaged it, if I'd done it how I planned it would have been fine. I'll know in future!

Called into some charity shops near it, saw a lovely winter hat, just what I've been looking for, cheap as chips, but it didn't fit. Also saw an enormous mug and saucer for £2, I'm going to think about it overnight and go back tomorrow if I still want it.

Kayleigh, glad you managed to phone your doctor.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
