It was a hat and it was much too small - I couldn't get it on my head at all. Oh well, I'll keep looking, I've got an old one that's fine I just don't like it, it's too old ladyish. And there's loads on ebay.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

My internet's slowing down again. It does this every night, I have no idea why. I'd better get on with dinner anyway.

I can't believe I have just done an online food order for Christmas...and only 1 slot left on 23rd nothing on 24th  At least it means I can go back and amend it between now and then but won't have to worry about battling my way to get everyday veg...I hate it at Christmas!
Does this work or do you just get loads of out of stock replacements? No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I read on here about people who got lots of replacements and still had to go out at the last minute to hunt down veg.
Just had an email from the social worker, saying I'll have to do a financial assessment to see how much I'll have to contribute to the care, hopefully it wont be much. On the old assessment it was nothing, so hopefully they haven't changed it in the last 5 years, I've got a feeling they will have though.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Yes, Stu is going to come round and spend the morning with the kids, then he is going to his friend's for Christmas lunch, and I am going over to the 'rents. Not looking forward to it really, but as long as the kids have fun, that's all I'm going to worry about this year.
Luckily I am not making Christmas dinner so it doesn't matter if veg is out of stock, as long as they manage to deliver *some* fruit and veg of some description. But I will need things like bread, milk, nappies etc, and I really can't be bothered battling the crowds for a boring weekly shop."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I've no idea what I'm doing. I was planning a nice day in on my own, possibly with dinner out somewhere. But I'm not sure that dad will want to be on his own so I might have to go over there, if it's anything like the last few years it'll be a nightmare.
I should think about dinner for tonight but I don't know what I want. I was going to have beans on toast, but don't fancy it now. I might just have toast and honey or something like that.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I hate outside....it was all cold and rainy and it went through my boots and into my thick snuggly socks! So now I'm sat in a pair of short in my rainbow socks, with a hoodie on, contemplating starting dinner (tonight it's turkey curry)
And I think the negotiations worked. He didn't go down the pub last night (tonight he's got a private job to do after work) he cooked dinner and I didn't get moaned at (although it was yummy and I sorted dessert) and well....bedtime was quite good too

Saw an enormous mug and saucer for £2, I'm going to think about it overnight and go back tomorrow if I still want it.
Ames I treid that with a pair of blackout lined curtains for Evie's room, went back the next day and they'd gone

Really quick shower then my housemate's dragging me out for a poetry night at the SU. It'll be good to get out, even though I'm skint.

I saw it half an hour before closing though, so if I go early it should still be there, I know that's the risk I'm taking though.
