Morning all,and happy Birthday Penny Penguin-hope its a good one.

Nothing exciting going on here, and its chilly and windy, brrr.I'm doing salmon fillets for tea, probably with broccoli and peas,or possibly stir fried cabbage, leek, and green beans.DS2 has been complaining that our low carb diet has been slipping and his weight loss has stalled.I know he's right (curry and rice last night..)but it feels too chilly for salad-the stir fry veg is a better alternative when its cold.I don't want to make him stall-he's lost nearly 3 stones and is looking great, which is doing wonders for his self confidence.Another plus is that when he only has a small amount of carbs daily, his eczema improves no end,his skin seems less reactive.

DS1 hasnt heard anything about the interview he went for last week (thanks for the good wishes by the way) so he's fed up-he thought he'd done a good interview.

I'm not going out anywhere today,so may carry on with my Chrissie cards-got quite a few done yesterday.I may put a spicy fruit loaf in the bm for DH & DS1,we have enough bread done.

A lot of people seem to be trying to live from the freezer/storecupboard on the boards atm.I think I'll do a bit of this too, otherwise no room to put the turkey .I do like my chest freezer, but it soon gets messy, even after its been sorted and a list of contents done.I blame DH!

    Right,back to OSiness.Have a good day everyone.x

Many happy returns Penpen, I hope you have a fantastic day and are very spoiled! xx

Lowesy - I had a similar situation years ago, except it was my upstairs neighbours who spoke to me about the "noise", they were quite impressed till they discovered it was the washing machine at 1200rpm and we were taking advantage of the Economy 7!!!!

Celyn - that cake is amazing, how did you arrange/attach the petals? Would love to impress oh with something like that for his birthday.

Hugs to all poorlies, hope you all feel better soon xx

Feels very odd but it is nice to spend some quality, uninterrupted time with OH (shut it Aussie:naughty:)

Snigger :silenced::rolleyes2:D, enjoy your quality time ;)

Busy morning here, washing is blowing on the line, as its not raining yet, hoovered through, made beds, swished the bathroom.

I have decided on a curry tonight with the left over chicken, and have just picked peppers to go in it, I have made the curry sauce, and will finish off later when dd and OH are due home. I made a baked bean mash and cheese pie for tomorrow night to have with sausages. And a pan of soup is simmering on the hob to have for lunches this week.

Going to go and wizz the soup, and then try to get in the garden for a couple of hours, start tidying up ready for the move (fingers crossed)

I must admit it was the Aga and utility room that I fell in love with :o, I put an offer in straight away, and poor OH had not even seen the house :o:o (he has now, and loves it too :D)

Mummysaver I hope your girls feel better soon x (lol at the wm story )

Tired mum I hope your ds settles at his new school, its been a tough time for him x

    Have fun all xx

I resoundingly thrashed OH at Strip Jack Naked so there may be a rematch today if he can take it. ;)
OS wise I need to yadda yadda yadda and make my third attempt in three days to mow the lawn. :D It's my usual razor but it isn't working and they're a pressie so they have to be right.

Not sure if I can help but someone else might come on to give you advice.:D

Not much else to report. Hope you all have a lovely day whatever your plans are. Happy Birthday Pen Pen. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Just made some Hobnobs and added a good couple of heaped teaspoons of nutella to the mix. Not bad - could actually do with a bit more ;) Doesn't help that I slightly over cooked them - still I've had worse disasters and they are still being eaten. DS is currently spreading crumbs around the living room as I type  I've already dusted and vacced in there so will no doubt I'll be doing it again in a mo.......

Lowsey - :rotfl: @ cheap and ruffly shirt for your H - will he be wearing any make up to complete the look ;)

Good lord DS has just popped upstairs and now reappeared stark naked except for his socks! I swear this kid is going to be a nudist (or a streaker ;)) :rotfl::rotfl:

beemuzed...It's actually alot of fun and I have loved motocycles since I was little. We just got the Harley this year and well they say you don't fully break in the bike til you tip it so let's hope that won't happen again heh.
It's just like riding a regular bike..you just gotta get up and ride again ;)

HariboJunkie..thanks ;) It wasn't too bad, no and my husband did it (tipped) 2 times when he was learning to drive (on the course) the thing when he was going for his MC lic. so he knew what to expact...me on the other hand? Think I lost a year of my life lol.

    tired mum...thanks :)
