I always look on boiler juice and heatingoil.co.uk to get an average price for the area I live in.
  • I tried boilerjuice as usual, along with whichoilsupplier and fuelfighter as mentioned above and boiler juice came out tops at £562.70 for 1000 Litres. However, I then did a bit of Googling and came across Go Locate Fuel and that came out as £516!!! :j

Bit of a difference I thought so promptly ordered. You need to be aware that that is an "economy" service which basically means the delivery will be anywhere between 10-14 days so is not suitable if you can't wait that long. There is also a 5-10 days "Express" service for just £4 more at £520 and a "High Priority" 3-5 day service at £556.40, all cheaper than the best BoilerJuice quote!

I am not affiliated nor employed in any way with Go Locate, I am just passing on my findings. I am living in the PE12 postcode area, between Spalding and Wisbech, so I guess these prices will cover a lot of Lincolnshire as well as Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

I can't post a direct web link but it is www . golocatefuel . co . uk

There has been a lot of problems posted by users of this forum with Go locate. If you search this forum you may be surprised at the disappointment faced by many people who have tried to buy oil and are still awaiting delivery/refund after many weeks.
I do hope that you eventually get your oil.

Go locate is a con. Do a search for it on the forum and you will find any number of threads about them, avoid them like the plague.

  • There are quite a few different online sites for buying oil, I started off using boiler juice but then moved to a company called www fuelfighter co uk as they were consistently cheaper and over the Christmas period there was an incident with B Juice being exposed in the press as not being independent although I never had any problems with them.
