    Checked harrods web page this morning

    They have donated all the meerkats to childrens charities

    Least this way it will be children they are going too and not selling on ebay for a small fortune.

    As a small aside I saw some meerkats at the Highland Market in Edinburgh, beside the German Market, with little tartan scarves for £13, they are lovely.
