i very nearly put a claim in. I spoke to TS and they said the reservation list was an intention to create legal relations. As there was a promise to pay when they were in stock, it is a watertight case and is there for the taking if anyone wants to claim consumer champ. OH doesnt want me to go through another litigation where charity is involved so i am going to leave this where it is.

personally Harrods should sell them to those that have been promised.
They can then donate ALL the money raised (or toy equivalent) to the charities.

So WHAT if people sell them on???? If I could I would........ I would then use the huge profit I would make to put on my own debts to make my own sons life better.

Sorry - and I am anticipating a stabbing here - but MY son will ALWAYS be a higher priority to ME then anyone elses!! Thats not to say I don't feel for other children and their situations but they are not MY first priority!!

Just for the record I didn't order one (or even try too) before anyone acuses me of being jealous etc.

You will be able to buy your child anything you want next year, and the year after, and the year after etc. Some of the children that are now receiving these will NEVER have another christmas, simply put because they will die in the new year. A very merry christmas to you, what a horrible horrible person you are.

Don't stone me when I ask this.....;but did any member of the public manage to buy one of these or did all 5000 go to GOSH?

There seem to be an awful lot on Ebay being sold by private sellers and considering these were meant to go to poorly children........

Loads were given away by Newspapers in competitions before xmas so it might be them on ebay.

or parents of the poorly children! I know if i was in there postition and could raise £1000 to buy the child exactly what he/he wanted then i would sell it too make a buck, to purchase there requests xx

...and if I was a parent of a poorly child who was doing just that, I think that considering the controversy I would state this in my auction!

Mind you, there's so much dishonesty none of us really know what to believe these days.

plesae don't jump on me but if I was the parent of a sick child the last thing I would be thinking about is making a buck from ebay, however there are a lot of Aleksandr's not being sold for charity, when I sent a message to several of them asking for the origin of their toy I got no response. A legit person would have emailed me back.
