Am I the only one who thinks that the cheap copy meerkats actually look more like the advert meerkat than the limited edition meerkats do ?

I bought one and he is fantastic much better than the Harrods one and they are also being sold for charity, I agree with you

I can undertstand people being disappointed with how Harrods handled the situation, but some of these children who will benefit from the proceeds of the charities auctions, might not see the new year, next xmas etc,
Be grateful you are not in their parents shoes and see the generosity of what Harrods has done.
It made me realise that xmas isn't all toys, fun and laughter for many children.
