    Good evening all

Busy day at work followed by trip to the Co-op. Have managed to put WM & BM on, also SC is cooking a ham for sandwiches. Dinner was salmon with a watercress sauce - sounds healthy but there was quite a lot of cream in the sauce :D.

Redruby - fantastic news about the house :j
Hillstep - congratulations on the award :j
Molly - (((hugs))), hope things improve for you.
    Ivyleaf - :bdaycake:happy birthday!

Plans for this evening - hang up washing and do some ironing, prep veg for a casserole tomorrow and defrost chicken. Will be using the SC tomorrow as I have to go to Winchester for a study day (just remembered I forgot to get petrol :o).

    Take care everyone

    Evening all

    Happy Birthday Ivyleaf:bdaycake:

Late posting today as has been extremely busy at work, we were running flu jab clinics alongside normal surgeries so it was bedlam for a while there!

Then after work went to WW for weight in - lost 4 lbs so chuffed to bits! The funny thing was whilst I was there someone was talking about a lady who she worked with who made a low fat cake that was delicious and she couldn't get over the fact that it was made with (yes you have probably guessed it) - Weetabix! Think she must follow MSE/OS don't you!!!!

Redruby - brilliant news - the house sounds wonderful!

Jayne and George thinking of you.

Lamewolf and all other poorlies - hope you feel better soon!

    Have a nice evening

    Good evening,

Happy Birthday Ivyleaf, and NPM, I hope Noah is feeling better.

I have managed to get some sort of chest infection, so I went back to bed for a couple of hours after dropping Grumpy the house elf off at school.

OS wise, I have done the washing and dried it, picked up everything that was on the kitchen floor (mostly fizzy drinks bottles/mixers etc) and put it away as a start to kitten proofing the kitchen, my house is fairly clean, and the child has been fed. I did microwave something for my dinner, but I'm not big on ready meals, so it went in the bin after 3 forkfuls. Tomorrow is another day and obviously ready meals are not the way forward.

Donny-gal - the kitty arrives on Sunday afternoon. The breeder is taking it to a show on Saturday. It's first and probably it's last.

    Take care all of you.
  • Evening all,

Happy birthday Ivyleaf(although it's almost over now!).

Been quite chez moi this weekend, didn't do loads as my ahem! monthly visitor is about to descend so I was like a screaming banshee. (on the inside of course):o. I apologise to those of you with a nervous disposition, but it's driving me insane. It's getting worse as I get older. Last year I had one Ovary and a tube removed, and I thought, "half the bits, half the trouble" No - mother nature has decided that with me it should be half the bits, double the trouble! Aaargh!

Sorry, rant over, you can tell I'm hormonal!

Hope everyone else is happy, safe and warm. Hugs to you all, especially those of you who don't think you need one.

And you and George, too, Cranky. Take care, it sounds like your body's catching up with the events of the last few weeks. X

    Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around much lately but just wanted to wish Ivyleaf a very Happy Birthday before it's over. I hope you had a lovely day!
Cranky, please take care of yourself, thinking of you and George every day. x
Jackieglasgow, I can sooo empathise with you! I hope you feel better soon.
Tiredmum, I hope things are picking up for you and your ds.
Candygirl, hugs...it doesn't seem like a year. Glad to read that your dgd is giving you so much pleasure!
NPM and smoky, I hope your little ones are on the mend soon.
Diva and Bitsy, I hope you feel better soon too. x

I've had a busy week. Work has been getting me down but I think I have come up with a solution. :D Dd seems to be on the phone continuously asking for recipe help, ds1 is hobbling around after a rugby injury and ds2 has a Viking project to do for homework which is taking up a lot of time  and Mr Pink is being a grumpy bleep!

The good news is that the new greenhouse is in situ and I'm trying to figure out what to use as flooring and what to put into it over the winter, so I've been busy with that and trying to tidy up the rest of the garden. I also finally got my new (to me) car. Everyone else in the family thinks I was mad to buy it but I just love it to bits, so I'm finding reasons to drive it just because I can...not very moneysaving I know. :o

Old style stuff has been squeezed in as and when I can manage it. :D

    Sleep well,

    Pink

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
