Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Thanks for keeping my name on the list Pigpen.

Have been fluttering along, since the beginning of the new school term, but not doing as much as I would like, so I'm going to make myself start posting again....I love this thread but feel bad when I can't keep up with it and just selfishly post my lists, but my house needs you all, so I'm going to give it a try ....

you don't need to keep up.. just posting your lists is plenty.. then I can see you and keep you on the list and you just bob in and out as you can...

ETA Thanks piggers, soappie, and toots :)

    Evening all
Am just catching up the thread from today, and last night I skim read up til end of last night.
fedup - how are you doing honey

Mudbath - DS is home right ? Any further info from docs as to whats going on ? Will read thread in a bit to see if you have posted. Big hug for your wee man from me.

Had a lovely day today, took kids to Legoland and as it was fairly quiet we went on a few rides that we didnt normally bother with so they had a great time. DD1 has the class bear home with her so we took lots of photos of "Ted" on various rides etc, she was pleased as punch bless her, and although only 4 still has written 2 sentences on Ted's diary sheet to take back into school tomorrow :D

Yesterday we pottered about at home and managed a few jobs on top of dailies:
    - DS beaver project
    - DS Maths homework
    - raked up all the leaves in the garden
    - baked a cake for MIL's birthday
    - wrapped MIL's presents
    - did roast dinner (veggie equivalent) for MIL's birthday tea
    - an hour's tidying up in DH study
    - sorted the hotspot on top of the microwave and filed a load of it away

Also this week here are the laundry related facts that I discovered:

    - blobbing bleach on felt tip pen marks on a top then washing in the machine does fade the marks a lot :)
    - blobbing bleach on a top then washing it in the machine causes the machine to stink to high heaven of damp and rotting things :eek:
    - chucking a handful of soda crystals in an empty machine and doing an empty very hot wash does indeed clear the smell totally:j
    - not setting the machine temperature back from 85 degrees to a normal 40 probably does shrink some things though I am too scared to look too closely :mad:

    Next Saturday -

    I am staying here

    http://www.fullershotels.com/rte.asp?id=189

How does everyone feel about meeting there about Midday for a drink? We can eat there if we want, or go to one of the places in the O2 for lunch and then head off to Greenwich, or Cutty Sark, or go for a walk (depending on the weather of course!) Or anywhere anyone wants to go .............
argh I would love to come but DD2 has a party that DD1 and DS arent going to therefore DH needs to stay at home with them while I take DD2 to party. (We might possibly all go to party as its soft play and we can pay extra for the bigger ones then when I take her off for party tea DH can stay and play with older two. But either way, 2 parents are required!). Otherwise it would have been great to go and do something different for a change, DH "owes" me a day or two off after holding the fort whil ehe was away. Ah well perhaps next time ....
