    I'm in again this week....

Thanks Pigpen for the lists and thanks Soappie and Toots for the stars.

Haven't managed much this week end, DS1 has been sick and didn't manage to make it to the toilet but carpets been scrubbed now. DS2 still very sleeping and pale, hasn't eaten very much all weekend. So looks like two will be off school tomorrow.

Good news is 8 items sold on ebay.:j I've relisted everything else and will add more this week.

    *Question*
My bedroom is full of paper work and i was thinking of scanning the lot and putting it onto the laptop. Does anyone else do this?
I've took the paper work down as far as i can so thought this would be the best thing to do as i've no room nor money for a filing cabinet. Plus it would free up some floor space in the bedroom.
What do you think would work best?

Right school uniform nearly dry, so i'm gonna get something to eat and head to bed. See you all in the morning.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j

    DD2 room update..

Ceiling painted and door undercoated.. both sides..

Roller, brush and tray washed and ready for another day!

Tomorrow I must get the proper wallpaper on.. measure for carpet (preferably purple but grey will suffice) it isn't big so I should ba able to get an offcut.. 2mx2.8m I think. I also need to sort what colour the skirting will be.. door is to be white.. I hate white skirting so it will probably be either silver or purple.

I need to locate her some new bedding.

Listy-list... if it ain't here it is done already! :p

    Monday ~ Master Bedroom
    Level One
    Declutter the floors
    Level Two
    vacuum the floors
    Level Three
    Tidy a box of 'stuff'
    Tidy up the floordrobe

    Extras
    1. Binbag dance .. done several but another won't go amiss!
Toots.. I can't get behind as I haven't been in for a week.. and depending on when my docs appointment is tomorrow I may be missing tomorrow too... I'm regularly bleeding through clothing so daren't go anywhere for too long let alone 4 hours sat in a lecture theatre.
Who was on about memory foam mattress toppers?

I just got one with my new bed.. it is DIVINE.. my hips are a little better but my left knee is still really sore.. I am hoping it eases after a bit more use.. it is also very warm.

    Good evening all

I've updated last week's list - didn't get quite as much done as I'd hoped, but that's ok.

    Mooooooooooooonday ~ Kitchen
    Level One
Declutter and wipe the worksurfaces.. and sink.. polish those taps!
    Level Three
    Clean out the fridge..

    Friday ~ Bathroom
    Level One
    declutter floors
    Level Three
    Wash bathmat

I also provided taxi services, done lots of washing, DW every day, shopping yesterday and today (groceries, new trainers and PJs for DS2), changed all bedding today - just ours to make so we can hop in. Also decluttered exchange student this morning - phew!

I'll have to focus on each day's list this week, since I'm going away next weekend :j. What isn't done by Friday morning won't get done. Had hoped for a star tomorrow, but got no chance with the bedroom. Too many boxes and stuff to sift through. It was lovely and tidy before I had to bring all my stuff down from the loft. I'm contemplating buying one of those incinerators for the garden, as my little shredder can't face the mountain of accumulated paperwork.

    Here's the plan for tomorrow:

    Monday ~ Master Bedroom/study
    Level One
Declutter the floors - not a chance!
Strip the bedding get it washed dried and the bed remade! - done
    Level Two
    vacuum the floors
Straighten a cupboard of clothing - for this, read: put all clean and dry laundry away, which is all over the house
    Empty all the bins upstairs
    Level Three
Tidy up the floordrobe, inc. shoes bags and toiletries.
    Extras
Check doors and windows for draughts and make a plan of action for dealing with them

    My list for tomorrow:
    make lunch x2
research/order air mattress for next weekend
    WM x2
    DW x1
    dry/put away clothes
tell DS1 that last day for washing clothes he wants to take is Wednesday morning (must keep an eye on DS2's clothes, too)
    check bank balance
    start spending record book

Welcome newbies, good luck, remember doing the odd 10 minutes here and there will start to make a difference over time.

Ironing all done (board and iron put away)
    DW emptied
    WM emptied and reloaded
    LR tidied

Just going to put the kettle on for my hotwater bottle and then head up.

Fedup - I'm sorry things have not gone how you wanted them to. Maybe in time you will come to accept that things were just not right for your OH. At least you know where you stand now, you must feel drained for this has been going on for sometime.

serena - that sure was some defeat! Glad the shrub has gone, what are you replacing it with?

    G&B and Mudders
    - hope both of your LOs are improving x

I was so wrapped up in planning that I forgot my manners. Thanks pigpen, toots and soappie for lists etc.

Hope everyone has a good week and hugs to anyone in need. I won't keep up with the thread, but plan to post progress every night until Thursday/Friday morning. After that, I'll see you on the new thread next Sunday night. If it's important, please pm me and I'll get back to you.

    Good night, all.

    Welcome to the newbies.

My efforts will be limited this week as I still have poorly littlie - he's still awake now and in a lot of pain so it's definitely back to hospital tomorrow. I'm hoping it is a combination of medications etc but who knows. All I know is that none of us can continue staying awake until two or three every morning. He's tired...we're all tired.

So, i'll do what I can this week.

    Hugs to everyone xxxxx
