Here is my other more important dilemma.

DS (turned 6 in June, in Yr2 at school) has always been the intense one of the family, ever saince the day he was born.. Very prone to anxiety, transition always a nightmare, never into telly, always needed entertaining, had horrendous tantrums even in the middle of the night, nightmare to potty train. But has a lovely gorgeous caring side.......

    Hi JillD,

I've got a little bit of experience in some aspects of your worries. I've PM you cos I have a habit of rambling on and would take up pages of the thread!:rotfl:

No more flying tonight! HHI completed, tomorrows lunches sorted.

I'll post tomorrows list in the morning!

Have a good night all, hugs to all in need Xxx:A

Lala - hugs; hope you can get something sorted

GnB - glad LO is home

mudbath - glad DS had a better day

    wilf - well done

fedup - glad your GP was helpful

    pigpen - have a vodka

JillD - I would get the Ed Psych to do an assessment so you can get advice if necessary. I have to say his behaviour doesn't sound bad enough for CAMHS (compared to the children in my class!!), but an assessment will let you know one way or another. Without lots more info, I wouldn't like to lean more towards ASD or ADD as they overlap in some ways. PM me if you want to.

Thank you everyone for your kind hugs and thoughts. I have a GP appointment in the morning as I need to get something sorted - I lost the plot again this morning so didn't stay at work :o I'm hoping to get some useful meds and be signed off for the rest of the week so I can get myself sorted over half term ............

Good luck with your GP appt tomorrow Frodders. I felt more than a little apprehensive about mine today however he was very understanding and passed on some sage words of wisdom.

I keep picking up the odd wise sentence from all over this week. Looks like the signs are telling me something and for once I had better take notice!

Rosepink - I'd agree that the chocolate oranges on bogoff is pretty good news!!!! They were at Mr T. I also picked up two of the half price big tins/boxes of celebrations for a fiver each for my mum to give my children. My parents wanted to buy them some wii games and priced them up at £105 - I've found them for £62 and done it through quidco - result!!! Especially as my parents don't do quidco so I get that and they asked me to put it on our credit card (money back) and they'd give me a cheque! I love that kind of shopping.

DS is in a bit of pain tonight but no where near as much as last week.

Two loads of washing done! (that was the flying bit) xx

Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Penelope Penguin.

Long day, no time to catch up but I did wave to you Dusty as I went through the Hatfield Tunnel.

Home tomorrow so hopefully get another room deep cleaned.

lala - your manager is absolutely out of order and totally unprofessional. Do you have a good relationship with her manager? Or with another member of your management team who you could discuss the issue with in confidence. Talk to your team, and make sure that you have all documented the meeting in case it comes up at a later date, as details can become inconsistent over time if you don't have paperwork to refer back to.

    Hi Greenbee, thanks for this,

Not only was it noted, it was minuted! She wants us all to produce reports on professionalism and what it means to us! Horrid, horrid, horrid! I know her manager is aware of the situation because the manager of a different team has caught wind of it and was concerned about us all. Don't know if anything came of it, doesn't seem so! We're just focused on January when our manager returns - can't blooming wait!

Hope your ankle is ok! Don't overdo the flying on it. Have to say that flying is a great release and distraction!
