    phone plan
    HE wants a phone
I will ask my friend if the LG works with a replacement battery (I think it will as I could switch it on with charger attached - but that limite dit's mobility). If so battery could be replaced.
if not I will check what I owe from amazon/ebay sales (less costs, of course - he thought I would pay for amazon packaging out of goodness of heart - err what heart would that be?)
So HE can figure out how to get rest of money.

and plans - bathroom money is sitting in ISA that's job 1. I have been given new shower and have a plumber standing by.
Then I shal start saving for next jobs. While I kinow windows can be repaired rather that replaced I would prefer new, lockable units that have better thought-through opening systems than we have now. back door and patio door would come under this replacement program too.
Oh and I intend to hook a rich bloke too....or sell jam LOL

Thanks for the hugsa Soappie but re his phone I DO NOT CARE. I like the helpful DS I have right now but it won't last BUT HE's still NOT having a new phone bought by me. Not even if he got G. Clooney round here. Or J. Depp. or anyone single, fit and hunky.
Or the fire brigade (by whatever means LOL)

Thought you might have a plan or two up your sleeve! And do the things in your house that YOU want (no point in putting new carpets in the kids rooms till they move out... they'll only make a mess!).

I'd sell jam if I were you (try the farmers/WI market), and get a practical bloke rather than a rich one - DIY skills are of more use to you right now, and he'll probably be lower maintenance. Get a rich bloke when you want to give up work, abandon your children and go traveling in style...

Lady Higgerty - well done your poshness

*prostrates herself before clearly superior flylady*
    *tugs forelock*

DD though, deserves a new carpet as she takes good care of the one she has now and it's only a little room. I was expecting a payback (in 4 figures) from exOH but he contrived with CSA not to pay it. That was carpet money!
They HAVE to be replaced as they are hard work to vacuum - hairs stick like glue - my hairs that is (from my head ;)) when the carpet goes ginger I handbrush it :rotfl:

    Looks up phrase
a+practical+bloke as is a strange and new phrase - probably some southern dialect term

*creases up at own humour lol*

  • I hope froddy, sexymouse, serena, greenbee and Rach and anyone else who goes have a great time.

lil_me (((hugs))) for being such a softee and a caring protective MUm - he will be fine - he loves it and you can have quality time with his brother.
dusty could you speak to the teacher? from a non teacher's view i would be worried you would be drawing attention to her that might backfire IYSWIM. But its not right that she should be suffering at the hands of her pupils like that and if they have done it once they will try to do it again IMO. BTW (((hugs))) for the pane of glass - you probably did the right thing not speaking to him - you might have said things you would have regretted later.
valli :T:T I love your fridge sign - he is not a child and I think he should buy his own after all the hassle he has had with phones. Its not easy to maintain a house and you have done really well - you will get ther with your jobs because you are a determined lady!! (((hugs)))

thanks greenbee and yes I will keep in touch by whatever means is possible under the bedclothes!!!:rotfl: BTW I dont think AnW's Mum is ignoring you - she wouldnt dare!! She has an important VIP visitor this weekend - The Godfather:cool: so she is rather busy!

jjef nice to see you and good to hear the exam went well.xx

night night soappie and thanks for being an angel xx
special love and hugs to Lady L

I am off to bed too
    see you all tomorrow

sleep well everyone - tomorrow is a new day and we get an hour longer in bed tomorrow night:j
    love n hugs
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last

Maybe you need a new hoover instead :p

If DD's room is small, maybe you can get a nice remnant or offcut or something in the sales? Mind you, she'll probably want to redecorate if you're doing the carpet.

Have you checked the floorboards? If they're nice, she might prefer them (and it's easier to hoover ginger hair if you have boards rather than carpet). Or you could get a ginger carpet :D

No I don't want bare boards. I did think about laminate but laminate = dust bunnies. Carpet is warmer and muffles rackets lol
They won't be nice boards anyway. Not in this house (oh and I need a rewire too but hey...)
I am having a bath with a bulge and a posh shower screen and a nice built in sink if I can. And fully tiles walls. I already have my bnew shower in a box in a cupboard. That was a donation from the other sister!
And I am never marrying a loser again I am sick and tired of paying off husbands...
Hoovers are fine its crappy static carpet...

and the fridge sign is saved so when 'someone' shreds it it can be replaced;)

I am going into hospital on monday for some more treatment for my muscles - quite routine ( well should be) - I will be in at least 5 days and it will depend on when I finish on friday if I get home or have to wait until monday for the all clear.
Do not fret the stars will be handled by the lovely soappie and me when i can - i have got my lappy working and have a dongle to connect to the internet - it will just depend if I get the chance to use it when i want to!!

    toots xx

All the best, Toots, and hope we hear from you from time to time (will Soappie be keeping a log of *your* visits as you have done for LL? ;))

Valli - you are staying much calmer with your teenager than I am. Mine broke a pain of glass in an internal door yesterday and I was so cross I could not speak to him for 20 hours - I kid you not.
I didn't know how to react when DH broke the glass shelf in the fridge the other week. I was so stunned that he'd done that, that I was actually really calm. He was trying to cram loads ofstuff under the shelf, and said he didn't realise it didn't just rest on the plastic bit,but htere was a plastic bit on top too to stop it moving upwards. Yet anotehr thing we have to replace when we move. The fridge is ratherancient,so hopefully it will break and be replaced before we move out so we don't have to get a new shelff rom somewhere. Where would we even get a shelf f rom?

Oh no Valli, not another phone! I agree, if he has to work for this one, he might value it a bit more.

Grateful, I thought it must be an exam, didn’t know which ones! Well done you for getting picked to do the marking

Have a nice London meet everyone, pics please!

    Hugs Lil_me

Toots, hope your treatment goes well xx

Hugs Sexy, glad you are feeling more positive

Miss H well done on your stars!

Hugs Soappie, keep that BD at bay! I’ve not been too bad today, had a few nearly teary moments and a while when I thought I couldn’t cope with having to do anything, but I’m pleased with what I’ve achieved. I even managed to think of what to have for dinner and cook it. That’s about the third or fourth time I’ve done it all by myself this week.

Got a rather hectic day tomorrow, feel quite stressed about it, just got to take it one step at a time. Got a fun evening planned so that will be something to look forward to!
