  • Greenbee that sounds like a terrible nuisance, especially as you're new, that makes it all harder for you.

Lots of flying of sorts - DS's room all packed into boxes and piled in our bedroom. Poor DS saw the boxes and burst into tears ... he thought we were moving all his stuff to the hospital!!!

Still hunting for ideal lidded storage boxes for billy bookcases. DH will make a trip to I**a during the week to get the bookcases. His room should look fab when it's all done and then we'll start on DD's.

I've cooked some fish for dinner but we're cheating by getting chip shop chips to go with it. A cheap way of having a takeaway.

Hope you get things sorted Greenbee - stuff like that can be so draining. Hugs to you xx

Wallpapering and glossing FINALLY done. Carpet collected and we are doing that tomorrow.

It is looking fabulous in there even with the manky carpet and the paste table and no curtains.. It is such a massive difference to what it was like.

Children banished to their dads, DD1 is back later but she has gone to the U18's night at the pub so just OH and I for dinner tonight... do I cook or do I send him to the takeaway???

    Ah.. decisions decisions!!

At some point over the weekend we need to visit Mr T's before the cats fade away and the dust fills the cupboards.

Breadmaker bread.... what is it like after being frozen/defrosted?

I am forever running out of bread and thought a few loaves stashed in the freezer might help.. definitely help with the amount of air that is in there being cooled at the moment... fankoo xx

Wow I have done LOADS today and almost everything to get all stars save for sorting a kitchen cupboard and mopping the kitchen floor (my WORST job - I HATE doing it).

Just waiting for DH to come home, the 3 children have just done an amzing job of helping tody the playroom so they are all ready to go upstairs.
I will do the mopping and cupboard while DH does bedtime and then hopefully get a little bit of filing/banking done, and then when the 3 of them are in bed, he is going out for a DVD and takeaway :D:D:D I think I've earned it today!!

Been *cof* shopping *cof* item bought.;)

Mum had been dropped in town by dad as she had an appointment at Scarsdale first - check up so asked it I would run her home. So I did. We gt to hers and no car! She was expecting dad to be in so she ferreted for her key then her front door opened - there's dad. Conversation went like this
    Where's your car?
Dad glances at EMPTY drive - then at us then at empty drive
    'It's been stolen'
    Looks at drive again
THEN remembered he'd been for a paper - car at the shops so I ran him to the shop
HE HAD WALKED PAST HIS OWN CAR TO COME HOME!

 Oh poor babe, what a little sweetie he is. How old is he?

Grateful, probably stupid question, what is January marking? Hope your weekend at the inlaws isn't too bad

Greenbee, Sexy and the lady with the awful boss (sorry, forgotten who this is), just seen this on Twitter: RT @weirdralph Stressed? Try these 3 steps: 1) Take a deep breath. 2) Count to ten. 3) Set the boss's trash on fire. Works every time

Have had a cheap and cheerful dinner - bacon in pasta sauce with pasta. Didn't really enjoy it very much, but it was hot and filling.

    Have a good weekend everyone!
