Thanks Sunny, I do exactly what you said (maybe not the food but I'll give that a go) when I get up at normal time its just so hard at 5.30am, tuesday is the next time I have to do it so I'll try, thanks for the hugs hun, I really need them I feel like s***.

Bitsy, I usually get up every day at 7ish to feed the animals, during the week I stay up and get dd sorted for school , weekends I go back to bed until as late as possible, dropping OH off means I have to be up for 5.30 at the latest:eek: I am a sleepy person, I do like an hour in the afternoon but I've just been too busy lately also I prefer to stay up late and lie in late but its just not possible, I remember when dd used to get up at 5.30am every day, so I know how you feel, don't fancy going back there, videos (remember them) became my best friend in those long ago days:D

mazzers, thanks hun but older? I'm nearly 42 now, how old do I have to be to behave like a reasonable person then?;)
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come
    Good luck for the future

I feel sick. I'm sat here in my gym stuff pacing, waiting for daughter and friend (who slept over here last night) to get themselves organised as they're going swimming whilst OH and I are in the gym. OH is floating about completely unconcerned whilst I'm a bag of nerves and getting closer and closer to the point where I say 'too late, I'm not going now'. (I wanted in for it opening at 10am so it would be quiet.) By the time we get there it's going to be busy. It's only a small gym so nowhere to hide. :(

I look like a shed in my stuff, it's very unforgiving. :o I hate this. I know this is pathetic, I can cheerfully have an attitude about other things so why can't I have one about this and just be bloshie and get it done? I actually seriously do feel sick. :(

Ok, I've been and I'm back. :D There was only one man in there when we arrived and he was a serious body builder type who stayed down by the heavy weights.

I did 10 minutes on the treadmill (4.5 minutes walking at 4.5 speed / 1 minute running at 5.5 speed / 4.5 minutes walking at 4.5 again), 10 minutes on the bike (only manual and @ level 2) and had a go on loads of weight machine thingies (between 10 - 20 reps each one at a low weight 25 -40). I was red faced and out of breath by the end of it but it's a start. I tried the thing that looks like you're ski-ing.....and got instant pain in my hips :o so I came off that one and will try to build it in soon. Hopefully I'll build up to better times and weights and I wont be so pathetic. OH was surprisingly supportive and didn't make me feel useless or embarrassingly wimpy.

I know all you gym peeps are probably wondering what the fuss is about but this is an acheivement for me. :rotfl:I'm just happy I got over the doorway and had a wee shot of things.......I'm going to go Mon/Wed/Fri mornings and I'll be a sexy skinny honey in no time. :D

Alias :T well done sounds like you did really well.
I went this afternoon, did 5 mins walking warm up ,15 mins interval training, 10 mins walking on a gradient , did some weights and finished off with the power plate

daisy I hate interval training :D but i know its doing me good , but the 1 minute run is such hard work :o

going to settle down to watch Dr Who soon, then no doubt DH will monopolise the tele watching footie ( which I hate)

Didn`t do too well later today :o there were cakes galore at work so i succumbed, never mind. I`ve not had chocolate chip muffins for ages and they were very lovely - so lovely in fact that as soon as i`d scoffed a couple i needed a bag of crisps to finish off :p

As i`ve carbed already i`ve switched the meal plan around and we are having tomato dahl and pilau rice which means that my lc pizza can be had another day when i`ve been better behaved :D

Will probably have a drink later too so all in all a very naughty Saturday!

Alias - Well done :j i`ve not been to the gym for years dunno if i`d go again tbh but i did enjoy it.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

    Morning all.

Well done to all the gym goers and losers.

Read the posts last night but was too tired to comment.

Had a hard day, short staffed still, and someone phoned in sick last minute, leaving just me and the manager to run a full clinic.
Felt really odd in the evening, honestly thought my number was up

Was burning up and heart pounding with a strange feeling.
I just cant go without my sleep.
Wanted to cook summat for my boy coming in from a concert but i was incapable.

Feel better after an early night and a good sleep though :)
