    i'm joining you guys.

    been looking through my holiday snaps and i look preggers in one :eek: I feel a bit of a fraud cos i don't think i'm technically overweight for my height, but i've put on almost 2 stone in the past 4 years or so and am on a slippery slope to chubbyville :eek:

    i'm not going on a diet per se, but i definately need to eat better, move more, get fit and tone up. I am currently in the middle of trying to finish of 85 reports and am desperately trying to ignore the call of the sweetie drawer :(

    Make way for a depressed person. :(

    The changing rooms had one mirror in front and a mirror on the side wall which you angled to see your back view. I wish I hadn't, I didn't know my back was as fat. :cry: It looks disgusting. I cant believe how I've been kidding myself on for so long. I'm seriously, seriously p*ssed off. My life is floating away from me on a sea of blubber....I'm a fun loving tart in my head but there's no way I'll ever be anything other than wallpaper in real life unless I shift this lard.

    I'm going to attack the gym with renewed vigour tomorrow. Wish me luck.

    Mines floated to outer Mongolia by now.

    Good luck :)

    I've all but given up pretending i'm gonna do something :(

    Yay! Hiya Pav. :D Long time no see.

    Welcome to our little gang (cos no point pretending, we are what we are:rotfl:)

    I can't imagine your skinny malinky frame with 2 stone extra.... I think you'd still look like a skinny minx anyway. :D

    I still have them btw, so unless you want a pointed bit up your bum, make the effort! :D

    No, you've bloody well not. You're in a wee rut right now and that's fine, it's what happens. Eventually you'll start to feel left out and you'll move your !!!. :D Until then we can just talk skin tags. :rotfl:

    thank you all for the raptuous welcome. feels like home already :)

    my goals for the next few weeks are

    * eat (much) less crap, and more fruit and veg
    * drink more water
    * get into a sleep routine
    * exercise more

    going to focus on the first two this week, and ease myself in gently.

    i have more padding now, i probably wouldn't feel them as much ;) as an aside, can i just say how happy i am that your antlers live to snag another cardi :j :D

    as for the skinny minx comment, i know if i'm honest i would be hard pressed to justify calling myself 'fat', but i'm getting increasingly alarmed at my inability to stop eating crap even though i can see the pounds starting to creep on. so it's a case of taking action now (in the hope that it will still be relatively easy to shift) rather than wait until I've gained another few stone and a lot more bad habits.

    i'm currently weighing in at around 9 stone 7, when i first got together with my OH i was 7 and a half - they say love makes you fat! i want to get back to the 8 and a half / nine stone bracket. don't want to go much smaller than that for fear my boobs will disappear :eek: - i'm not exactly jordan as it is, so i'm quite happy with the boost that came from my weight gain. no ultra shock absorbing sorts bra needed for me :rotfl:

    mazzers - sorry you're feeling down. tomorrow is a new (and hopefully brighter) day :kisses3:

    Lol. :D

    Well I've managed to pull a muscle, and I've not even been to the gym yet. :(

    I went to bed really tired at around 10pm ish and fell asleep almost immediately. I woke up around 12 and that was me wide awake. Came downstairs until 4am ish which is when OH went to work and I went back to bed. Took ages to fall asleep and I woke up again about 7am.

    I was at that half asleep/half awake stage and was stretching when it suddenly dawned on me the room was very light and I thought I'd slept in for the youngest getting up for school. I turned quickly to look at the clock whilst I was still stretching and felt as if I'd been stabbed with a red hot poker through the top of my back. I couldn't move for about an hour. :( Eventually got up and taken some high strength ibuprofen but that's the gym stuffed for me today.

    You couldn't make it up. :(
