    Morning all.

Well I'm afaid after Eric's informative post......I'm going to bring the tone down. :D

I have asparagus pee. :D You know when you eat asparagus your pee smells funny? well mine smells like that but I've not eaten asparagus. Or anything different to normal (although I did have corned beef and I haven't had that for while...but even so it's never had that effect before so I'm not convinced it's even got anything to do with it anyway). Sorry to those who dont want to think about such things but it's bothering me. :rotfl:Anyone else experienced this whilst icing?

Today was going to be spent emptying one shed, then moving the shed round to the front garden temporarily just so we could make a start on the back garden. OH has decided he doesn't want the shed in the front garden as it'll look horrible and out of place. (Which it will.....but we don't have a great deal of choice, if you're making an omelette you gotta crack the eggs.) So I'm not making a start after all, I refuse to try to make the garden better with one hand tied behind my back, it's pointless. We have two sizeable sheds and a 12' trampoline, how does he expect me to work round that lot? So today will probably involve the couch a lot, I'm now in that kind of mood. :D

If you fancy a change of colour eat beetroot or drink some beetroot juice!

I had a day like that yesterday, sis. It was shocking what I put away. :o

I'm not fussed though. I've decided that trying to fight against the TOTM thing is too stressful and not only am I in a mood because of the hormone thing, I'm also in a mood because of the trying not to eat thing. Our house is not a fun place to be at these times. :D

I'm going to see how I go eating normally over TOTM and then restarting icing afterwards. It's not ideal but I just can't handle it so I'm trying to work round it. Clearly I will lose a lot less weight doing things this way but so be it.

On the upside, OH was surprisingly supportive last night and has suggested us going to the gym together one day. I told him I didn't want to if all he was going to do was slag me off or expect me to do more than I could manage, but he's really been ok so I'll try it and see how it goes. I'd rather go with someone else anyway, didn't fancy being the lone fatty in the corner in amongst all the fit honeys and buff guys. :rotfl:

Changing the subject totally.....I've been very aware of my old carb face lately (didn't know it was called that until sweet mentioned it :D). Although I'm not quite a 'Churchill' yet, I am getting jowly (sp?) and my skin just isn't smooth anymore. I look old. :(

BUT......I've gone back to using the Boots Protect and Perfect (or 'preserve' in my case :D) and my skin is looking much, much better. I used to use this when it just came out and thought it was good but there was a thread on here full of peeps who said it wasn't any better than x,y or z so I stopped using it and tried some of the other cheaper suggestions. They were ok but my skin just didn't look as bright and smooth....I put it down to getting older and being carby. Anyway, I got a small sample of the P&P stuff again recently and already after just over a week, I can see a difference so I'm off to Boots today to buy some more. It might not work for everyone but it has DEFINITELY made a difference to me. So might be worth trying if any of you feel your 80 year old skin isn't quite matching your 20 year old attitude. :rotfl:

I will also have to buy some spot cream for the mahoosive big zit that has appeared on the side of my chin. :(

Have a happy day all. :D

Morning all, I am tired :(today ran out of salad when I went to make my lunch this morning so I have chopped up a bit of cucumber, some ham, pepperoni and a bit of coleslaw - how pathetic.

Had 2 chicken breast and veg for my tea last night - very nice it was.

I am completley over potatoes, not even craving them at all, in fact if someone put some spuds in front of me now I would probably gag, same with pasta and crisps (well could prob eat crisps if I was forced:D) but I am still craving sweet things like chocolate and ice cream, but still fighting it.

I think it's like smoking, once you have gone so long without one you completley get over the cravings and the thought of them make you feel ill.

Ah another weekend to fight off temptation,, got a bbq tomorrow night as well, but that shouldn't be too hard, just eat burgers with out the buns and a bit of salad. (god, I hope I don't get drunk and start eating carbs:eek:)

Anyway, want to weigh myself but don't think I have lost anything so not going to bother..............in fact I know I will, maybe if I have gained it will make me more determined to be good over the weekend................................. (yeah right):rotfl:

Alias I use boots protect and whatist ( i am really forgetful today :o) I use boots sanctuary face wash and the protect thingy moisturiser and microdermabrasion scrub ( which is just fab :D)

glad your OH is being a tad more supportive , dont worry about the gym at the one i go to there are loads of people there even fatter than me!! ( alot more that are thinner though :()

foxy the good thing about icing is that I dont crave bread anymore ( i used to polish off a whole loaf easliy in one go - decent bread that is not that bendy soggy stuff) I dont crave potatoes /rice/ pasta either , I just wish I could conquer my sweet tooth , still need chocolate and i sometimes eat sugar free sweets which give the most horrendous wind you have ever heard :o:eek:

off to waitrose in a mo , a friend says their essentials range is cheap and excellent quality , so i thought i'd give it a go , just hope i dont do a hormonal shop

Interesting, I didnt see the post about this, what is it? I know when I'm on the carbs I get more skin tags than usual which I thought was very odd but I've read that I'm not the only one.
