SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Any news yet sweet? Hope hubby had a not too uncomfortable night.
Well I feel ill today.Shakey and a bit yeuchy and a very sore head.) I haven't been eating a great deal over the last couple of days so it could be that OR it could be the bug my daughter has been off school with, that's starting in me.
I've got loads to do today as well, typical. SIL is coming up for an overnight stay tomorrow so I need to get organised for that. I think it's going to feel like wading through mud today.
Ok, serious question time....I've just had a nosey into the Sliming World thread. The first post talks about eating unlimited amounts of potato, fish and chips etc etc. How can this be? It seems too good to be true. The receptionist in my dental practice has just joined and is raving about it.Herman - MP for all!0 -
I don't post very often but I do love to read this thread. You guys make me laugh :rotfl:
I swear I think windows, changing room mirrors and basically anything reflective in the public arena is deliberately made to make you look your worst. I mean what I see in my own mirror at home isn't what I see out and about :eek::eek:
Sweet - Hope your H is ok xxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
Thanks peeps
Hubby in hospital overnight, rang them this morning & he's 'comfortable', having an ultrasound scan later so will know more after that, hopefully.

I so agree with that!! And what alias said about catching sight of herself in a shop window, I'm sure it's happened to all of us & it's like being slapped in the face with a wet kipper!!
alias, hope you feel better, it could be a bug but you've had a lot on your plate lately (not the food variety) so you might be feeling run down. Hope the SIL visit goes ok.0 -

alias - you know i defected from LC'ing to SW and im really positive about it - loving the carbs and its not like a diet at all really
only thing i do struggle with is alcohol - it uses so many syns !!! but if your not a great drinker its so easy to follow
did you read the opening post on the SW thread ? it explains the extra easy plan really well - give it a go love xx:j MFi3 wannabee :j

Lol Daisy...I did read the post....and struggled to believe any of it. :rotfl:
It's like when you first heard you could eat sausage bacon and eggs on a low carb diet and lose weight....that didn't ring true either. But it worked.
There's a class in the next town to us so wouldn't be too much of a hardship to go along, it's just 'yet another' one on my list of things to consider trying. Oh when does it all end? :rotfl:Herman - MP for all!0 -

I never do green days as i dont lose weight, too many carbs, but pasta and potatoes are allowed, as are SW chips ( limited oil on chipped spuds) meat and fish is limited though, but red days are good for me, lots of meat and fish but limited spuds etc, lost lots on that but cant stick to it atm.
Like daisy said tho, alcohol uses lots of syns, i used to save mine for the weekend, although its frowned upon, it still works.0
