Hello folks, still feel unwell. but slightly better as i've had loads of sleep.
My back is aching though, from being in bed so long i think. Was in bed before nine.

Just got up for another lemon thingy and back to bed for me.
I didn't even shower last night, just too ill :o

Hello Jen, alcohol just uses up too many calories, or if lcarbing gets burned instead of fat.

I've recently almost given up drinking, but no weightloss to report as i've moved onto chocolate for my treat, just gotta kick that now.
Why oh why cant i get addicted to lettuce th_1sm067roll.gif?t=1275372555

    Morning gang :D

confessions first :o big chinese takeaway for tea last night, i didn`t just hog but hogged in style :o

Good news kitchen fitter has gone :j kitchen is mostly finished apart from a light fitting that i need to drill holes for and i also need to buy a blind and drill the holes to fix that too.

I`v changed my mind about the far corner and yesterday i`ve ordered a larder cabinet - not sure how long it will be before it arrives as they need to call me to arrange delivery but as soon as its here and put together i can order the new fridge freezer and finally get some flooring down instead of the bare floorboards and concrete :D

Still a way to go but for the most part its finished and i can get on with clearing all the sawdust and brick dust up today.

Anyhow - all this means that i have access to normal food :j i do need to empty the freezer and try to stay fairly low carb but at least i can get back to some level of normality now.

I need to buy more shake powder too, i`ve only got about two scoops left and its too late to order any so i`ll pop in to H&B later for some more maxitone. As i`ve not had access to a blender for a while i`ve been putting water in a jar and adding the powder on top and then popping the lid on and giving it a good shake - obviously not as good as the blender but i`ll do this in future for work instead of messing about :D

Alias - Love the boot camp idea, i`d be the worst person for cheating.:p

Sistercas - Glad the volcano has stopped.:D

Mazzers - Get well soon (((HUGS)))

I`m off to look for some razorblades - don`t panic, i need to remove some sealant :D

Catch ya later guys - have a good one.

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Alcohol's the hidden weight staller jen. Also it can make you nibble uncontrollably if you have too much. Knock it on the head for a couple of weeks and see how it helps...

Good that the kitchen is just about there sunny, that'll make you feel better. :)

Well I lost another 1lb this morning, nervous tension has it's uses. :D That's 24lbs in total now (would have been more if several of those pounds hadn't needed to be lost more than once :o).

OH has lost exactly the same amount and he looks like he's half the man he was, whilst I look just a little less blubby. :( I think I might be on another downer again, I do seem to be having pretty frequent mood swings between trying to be upbeat and feeling so p*ssed off I just wanna cry. I really think I need other people in my life to interact with (not just you virtual lot :D), I don't think my isolation is healthy. Where do I get 'people' from though? :(

Phew, just woke up again, feel a bit more human as i've had a piece of toast and a cuppa.

Cant face work at 2pm though, just rung in to ask for the few hours i'm owed and i'll go for the last few hours and to shut down.
Was saving them for an early finish but got a week off soon so no worries :)

    Is a horrid day.
My planting will have to wait a bit too.

Alias, agree you need more peeps to interact with, i went a bit simple when i was first married as we moved a long way from home for hubbys' job, (Lincolnshire, he was a materials engineer on the humber bridge) and i was so alone and with a toddler, it was awful, he worked 16 hour shifts sometimes, if it was at home it would have been ok, but a new move and no friends, looking back, i think i was close to a breakdown. We came home after 18 months as i'd had enough.

Cant you enrol on a course ready for Sept, i did quite a few watercolour courses, also did reflexology and aromatherapy, a couple of computer courses, and really enjoyed them, or join a slimming club or something, you def need people around you.

Ignoring the fact it costs just under a grand for a week, this place would be ideal for an MSE meet for us lot. :rotfl: Mind you, I think we'd spend more time being rebels than we would anything else, we'd get kicked out. :rotfl:

Hi Jen, :) Drinking wine definitely stalls my weight loss...I try to stay away from it but admittedly I sometimes don't try very hard. :o

Maz, you sound hellish, deffo time to stay in bed and rest now, I think. Hope you kick it soon my germ laden friend. :D

    sis......tmi. :eek::rotfl:

funny you should mention that camp, me and OH are planning to do our own one in august :D

just did a gentle 3 hr hike on sunday and OH dropped a 1lb just from that :)
