    Yesterday had nana for brekkie,
oatbran and onion pancake after rainy walk,
some nuts (macademias, walnuts and hazelnuts) with a couple of slices of brie for lunch,
kinda nibbled my way through a 240g packet of chicken (Tesco's cheapie ready-to-eat chicken: about 300 cals. for the packet) after that...
finished off the chicken for tea, with a little sweet chilli sauce. Had a Yeo Valley strawberry yoghurt too. Yumm
bar of Ryelands 70% dark choc. with a cuppa for 'supper' (I'm a poet and I didn't know it! :p )

Not too bad, considering I felt low/miserable/grumpy/yuck! yesterday.

    :)

Feeling better today, though p-pains this morning MADE me have a slice of wholemeal toast with marmite (supposed to be good for something.. tummy ache/headache/feeling rough....?) :D

After this morning's walk, attempted to make 'Oopsies' but the mixing wand thing was getting hot and smelled funny and the whites wouldn't go stiff.. (got a teensy bit of yolk in them.. could that be why..?)
Consequently I couldn't possibly have put them in 'mounds' on a baking tray, so I made half the mixture into a pancake with some fried mushrooms and just woofled it. Was pretty nice. Will have the other half for tea or brekkie.

There was this woman calling her dog in the woods today. Eventually came across her, as had a couple walking their dog. Her little dog had fallen in the stream and couldn't get out. My dog went down and 'showed it the way out' (or showed off, not sure :rotfl:), but it just growled at him (little dog syndrome? lol). Eventually the man climbed down and straddled the (fairly shallow) stream, and rescued it. It then proceeded to attack my dog, and the woman didn't do much, despite me telling her to pick the bloomin' thing up! I was impressed with chops, since he didn't even retaliate (only seen him aggressive a couple of times, and had the boys with us..). I think the little dog was jealous and mine felt sorry for it  He even ran up the other bank at one point, which is almost vertical!! - just to rub salt in the wounds :rotfl:The daft woman eventually picked up the little ankle-biter. As we walked off, the woman (with the man) said 'she had wellies on'. She was just standing there, and seemed almost to expect us to rescue the pooch, which made no effort to get out on it's own. We had a little laugh about it all before going our separate ways. Hehe :)

Have a lovely day peeps!

(Reminds me of when sweet wanted to look slim for her new car. :rotfl:)

    :p:p:p

Morning lovely peeps (and alias :p)

I'm sooooooo annoyed with myself - saw a half-price George Foreman grill in Tesco yesterday - £10 instead of £20 - dithered & didn't buy it. Decided to go back today & get it & it's now £10 off the original price of £30?? They must have made a mistake yesterday but I'm kicking myself I didn't buy it then!! Grrr!!

Anyway, well done on the weight loss daisy :j Be positive, it's a loss & not an 8lb gain like some peeps!! :o:whistle: So are you going to try mixing your frees & superfrees around, think it was you that said that on the SW thread??

I've lost another bit of a lb this morning - I'm not surprised though the amount of toilet trips I'm making!! :rotfl:

Have a good day everyone, I'm stuck in this aftie as getting the windscreen on my car replaced :(

Does that mean you'll be getting your hair done so you'll be all pretty through the new screen? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Sorry. :D

Well I have a bug I think. :( OH was complaining of a sore stomach yesterday and today I have pain too....lots of it. :( I also have the runs.

Not great when I have so much varnishing to do.

Joiner is a no show again today so I could have got on with a lot but I keep doubling up with cramps and running to the loo so I'm not exactly going to be very productive today. Waste of a day. :(

Get well soon, hope the bum doesn't get too sore!! :p:rotfl:
  • Hanno, loved that story about the dogs, made me laugh!! :rotfl:
  • Forgot to ask...

Has anyone on here used microwave steam cooking bags before?? I bought some in Aldi this morning (just need the microwave now :o) as they were mentioned in my SW class a couple of weeks ago. They're called Zip 'n' Steam' & you can cook veggies, chicken fillets or fish fillets in them.
