Bought the book from Tesco where all bestsellers are 2 for 1. I only paid £7.99 for two books so works out a lot cheaper than amazon.

I have just completed day 2 and finding it easy (so far). I normally follow Atkins but don't seem to be getting good results as I think I have been on too many diets and messed my body up so thought I would give Dukan diet a go as it is something totally different.

Have been eating mainly chicken and eggs with a muller light thrown in. Been drinking plenty of water and eating the recomended 1.5 tblespoons oat bran.
Will update with my weight loss in a couple of days.

    Morning peeps

just drying off here atm, the heavens opened as soon as i was out the door with the woofaloes so we all got a good soaking. Shame really as i was going to do a few things in the garden before going to work but i shall have to do some ironing now. Don`t normally bother but its clothes for work so i can`t go in looking like a prune when everyone else is pressed to perfection :D

Yesterday i ate a load of carp and felt hugely bloated. Once i started i just couldn`t stop but thats all over now. Today is the first of the SW/LC combo that i want to do. Its mainly going to be healthy eating but without potatoes, pasta etc. I shall do the green days every now and again as it seems to kick start me but it will be mainly based on red days.

Brekkie will still be scramblies and mushrooms for the forseeable future :D will vary it a bit with herbs and peppers but i`m finding that this is a good breakfast for me. I love porridge but will save that for the colder months on green days.

The thing that i know i shall struggle with are dinners - especially when i`m at work so i`m thinking maybe a piece of wholemeal bread cut wafer thin and toasted with tuna. Bread makes me bloat but homemade has nowhere near the same effect as shop bought so i think that i shall get away with that. Tea will be a normal meal but without carbs.

I shall worry about snacks later, i know that there will be some but i`m hoping that i can snack on things like the odd chicken drumstick and not crave anything sweet. A lot of the SW recipes that i used to make have splenda added instead of sugar but i`d rather leave it out. Ready meals are a no no unless i make them myself as there is so much carp in most things these days i don`t even look at the ingredients any more. I`d rather batch cook and freeze things so that i know whats in them.

Alias - Hope that everything goes well this week, i`ll clear some rubbish out of my shed just in case the joiner isn`t up to par and you need somewhere to keep him as punishment :D

I need my extra kitchen larder unit puting together before the new fridge freezer arrives in a couple of weeks  i`m skint now so need to do it myself but the materials are far too big for me to handle on my own and DH hasn`t got the same day off as me for a couple of weeks. Think i`ll ask Dad to help. He won`t be able to do much but he should be ok to hold things whilst i do the rest so fingers crossed that it all works out, given the pattern of things in this house it won`t but i can live in hope :D

Right i`ve rambled on enough :o best make a move.

    Have a good day peeps.

Lol sunny, I think I may not need the shed, but thank you anyway. :D

As of this afternoon, I now have one of those pull down loft ladder hatch things. No more going out to the shed to get the ladders. Yay!

Tomorrow will see a new livingroom and den door. (Den being the cupboard sized space we have all the computer stuff, desks and filing cabinets etc in....I suspect people really do have bigger cupboards in their houses but this room is enough to sit in with a swirly chair so it's nicknamed the 'den'..... it's so compact and bijou. :rotfl:)

    I weighed today! :D I shouldn't have. :(

    Say no more. :rotfl:
