So... if i could only cut out the crap, i might just see some results, a woman on our table has lost a stone purely from eating more 'healthily', i've never been so hopeless at cutting down, maybe i just dont care as much *shrugs*

I have a bag of Maltesers every day at work. A 37g bag isn't actually that bad and it helps curb my chocolate craving. I've lost a lot of weight whilst eating Maltesers, so can vouch for the principle of having a little treat often. :D

Losing weight really is all about portion size.

I know, i did that years ago, had a crunchie every day as my treat.
I've got high blood glucose now and i shouldnt be having it at all really. Dunno if that is making much difference or not tho tbh.

I dont eat huge portions, used to, but not for years now, makes me too full and bloated. I do tend to pick a lot tho, something i never did before i got fat.

I think that's very true - grazing on food throughout the day is what made me put on weight too. I guess if you're eating lots of little bits, you see each nibble as relatively low calorie, but lose track of the total. Christmas really is terrible for that - I know it's still ages away, but we're already planning our Christmas lunch at work (madness!) and I'm reminded that my willpower is going to have to get even stronger to survive that. My OH is right, I can't keep putting on weight, losing weight, putting on weight, losing weight...

    Do you know, i have.
Yo yo'd for years now, was slim once upon a time, up til i was 35, and ate what i liked at mealtimes but didnt eat biscuits, crisps or much choc, and never ate between meals.
Think i've c*cked up my whole system now tho with the yoyo'ing.

Been away on my holidays and have eaten my weight in ice cream!

Sorry to hear you are having a rubbish time Sarah, must be very worrying and frustrating for you. My dad starts radiotherapy in about 10 days:(

I'm back on the Paul McKenna wagon from tomorrow, i didn't actually put any weight on while i was on holiday thankfully, but didn't lose any either:cool:

Sorry, it looks like a threesome to me.

Have had a lovely day doing very little, only just had dinner altho it was cooked hours ago, actually had it at the dining table, middley made his delicious carrot cake for dessert (i am so stuffed) we also practiced wolf whistling with our fingers for after dinner entertainment, i'm really good y'know ;)
Did i mention i had a nice bottle of blossom hill chardonnay? :rotfl:
    Off for a nap :)

My plan worked, it did turn out sunny.

Think I might weigh myself tomorrow. Not caring too much but think it's probably best I know. Just thought I'd mention......this will be my first on topic [STRIKE]post[/STRIKE] comment in weeks, thought I'd better keep my hand in. :D

Not looking forward to this week. Joiner will be here all week and I have no idea how I'm going to keep us all out of his way. Whatever we do has to be dog friendly and the weather isn't supposed to be good.

I've not used this bloke before, the chap that did one of my doors already, can't come back because he's so busy building houses for folk who are self building (self...who are they kidding! ;)) anyway, he had this boy working for him and passed him onto me. The old joiner promised he was good so he'd better be. If he cuts my oak wrong or hangs my door squint...I'll send him to sunny. :rotfl:

I've given up trying to clean. How can you tidy a perpetual building site? As long as my knickers aren't hanging out the washing basket, the rest can go hang. :rotfl:
