i dont believe in low fat now tho coz of lc

I know what you mean, I'm struggling with the idea of being able to scoff low-fat, fat-free stuff on SW because I know it's probably full of sugar to compensate for the lack of fat :(

Am off to manchester with a mate next weekend to meet up with peeps from FB that i 'met' on mse when i first joined :)
Having two nights B&B in a nice hotel so we will do some shopping also :)

Sounds great, you'll have a brilliant time. I think me & hubby are getting away for one night for my Birthday, first time in 4 years!! :j

I'm feeling all sensitive and miserable today. Think it is hormonal but I just want to dive into a vat of chocolate and munch til I hit the bottom. In fact I think I can smell chocolate now. I am such a comfort eater. Comfort eating carrot sticks just isn't the same. :(

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm feeling all sensitive & hormonal as well but I'm going to have a Gin & slimline tonic to make me feel better. Infact I could have 2 if I wanted as that would still be within my syn levels for the day :D Tut tut, saving syns for booze, shocking!!

Right, better go & pour the first G&T & then I can settle down to watch Location :)

    Spose so ;)

I've said it before and i'll say it again.. 'i'd love to meet up with you lot' we could have a good old [STRIKE]p*ss[/STRIKE] knees up

Btw, wasnt me just incase i'm suspected.

Honestly didn't think i would be which is why i wasnt annoyed at being one of the 'pathetic three' (my words, not anyone else's... we know who we are! ) ;):D who is always off the wagon, not been near it for months actually *rolls eyes*

In fact, myself and alias knew we might be pulling others down with our rubbish attempts at lc which is why we felt we should leave :o

Not in the best of moods.. tad grumpy...
First day I haven't had to get up early for kids/school/work, and OH gets me up at 6, asking if the PTS (pasta, tuna, sweetcorn) is for him... I made lots as always and put what the boys didn't eat last night in a LARGE marge. pot.. that'd be enough for 2 people's teas/dinners.., not one person's lunch! :wall:
Okay, not too bad.. I could've gone back to sleep after that (if my arms weren't dead.. ), but then he announces 'uh-oh, fire' quite loudly, whilst standing outside the (sleeping!) boys' room  and there follows the distinct smell and appearance of 'burnt toast smoke', shortly followed by the smoke alarm
Of course all I can think of then is all the smoke getting into all the clothing, etc.. and I have to get up to try and fix it.. windows already open, HE had front and back door open, so I lit a load of candles.. only thing I could think of..

Sorry, big long rant, but............ GRRRR!!!

    And breathe...........

Just had a slice of stoneground toast, drinking cuppa.. back's hurting from a little pilates/yoga session yesterday.. (think maybe I overdid it ). Think I'll do some stretching/breathing/relaxing if there's time between cuppa and boys getting up...

    Have a good day folks!

P.S.: I want to be able to do this! Could listen to her all day too: so relaxing... (had a little go at it yesterday, which is probably why my back hurts: it's perhaps just a tad too advanced for me at present.. :rotfl: )

  • Morning :hello:

Tis a beautiful day here, such a change from yesterday when we had almost constant spitty rain.

mazzers, I only had 1 G&T last night, that was enough, but did have 4 Aldi crackers with some chopped fresh tomatoes on them, same amount of syns as the G&T.

hanno, hope your day gets better, hopefully get yourself out for a walk with pupaloe(??) & do your sneaky exercises :)

It's my last day of freedom for a while, curse the six week school holidays!! :rotfl: I'm going to whizz around a few shops before they get ridiculously full

    Morning peeps

so far so good today, no rain (yet) so the washing is out.

Marrowgirl - We must have finally got some of your dry weather :D

Planned meals for today are scramblies and mushrooms for brekkie, cheese and salami for dinner, chicken tikka salad for tea (really enjoyed this yesterday) and pepperami/chicken for snacks.

Got weighed this morning and have stayed the same but thats not a bad thing considering that yesterday i ate 2 chocolate teacakes from someone at work :p Hopefully today i shall be able to resist the goodies.

Off out shortly to walk the woofaloes in the park and then i need to strain some plums that i`m turning into wine before getting ready for work.

I need to dig up some raspberry canes that i`m taking in for someone later and a quick tidy up should suffice as far as housework goes and hopefully i shall have time for a browse on here too.

Still keep chuckling at all the "it wasn`t me comments" i`m starting to think that we`ve been had. None of us have stayed on the wagon so maybe it was meant to disrupt our little world and i fell for it? still not sure but i certainly won`t be thinking about it any more, lifes too short.

Well a ball has just been thrown at me so i`d best make a move :D

    Happy days peeps.

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

That's how I feel about it today, happy days everyone, hopefully all is now calm!! :D
