i think the reason id like to know who it was - is because of us all being friends iykwim ??

But we're friends with us lot...that lot over there are just aquaintances. :rotfl:

but yes it has indeed stirred up a hornets nest and maybe we should just realise that not everyones as nice as us lot and leave it be .....??

We are nice, aren't we. :D

Just a joke about the aquaintance thing btw, just trying to lighten the situation. :)

Was it only me that thought Buffy's post was a bit off?? I actually didn't like her tone, a bit 'wooden spoon' & provocative I thought.

I've been sad & read through old LC posts & everyone was very welcoming & encouraging as far as I could see. It makes me wonder, if someone did send a pm, it was actually meant to be well-meaning but has been taken out of context??

I just can't imagine anyone on here (or the LC thread) sending that sort of pm, maybe I'm naive & just like to see the good in peeps, but I've always found everyone on here to be supportive, friendly, funny & honest. Why would someone send a sneaky pm, wouldn't we just come out with whatever we were thinking on the thread??

Obviously I may be proved wrong.

And being honest myself, I have to say I didn't really like the 'name & shame' and 'who do they think they are' type of comments, it felt like it was turning into a witch-hunt, what happened to innocent until proved guilty??

And no, I have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. And I really don't think anyone else on here does either.

I had a nose at the LC thread. Actually I took Buffy's post as a two fingered salute to the person who sent the PM rather than deliberately trying to stir things up.

If it was me I'd have copied and pasted the original PM ;)
I would have thought it was a witch hunt if names had been named with no proof.

At any rate all that was tame compared to what goes on in DT

Moving on anyway........feeling in a better head space at the mo. How long this will last I don't know but am making more effort to think before I shove stuff in my mouth :o Also listening to the PMK CD each night which helps me off wonderfully to sleep :o :rotfl:

Daisy well done on your 2lb loss :T

    Morning gang

just been over and posted on the lC thread, hope thats the end of it now.
Shame that our little world has been rocked but hopefully thats the end of it now.

Bitsy - I read Buffys post as a two fingered salute too

Sweet - I never thought about the post like that *scartches chin*

As i said on the other thread i`d like to think that its someone who isn`t around anymore as i really can`t imagine anyone on here doing something like that.

Back to the serious stuff ;)

Just had brekkie of scramblies and mushrooms and i`ve got my tupperware tubs all prepped to take to work.
One has cheese cubed and peppered salami in and the other has mixed salad with chicken tikka pieces and a huge dollop of mayo, could eat that now thinking about it. May take a pepperami as an emergency measure.

For the first day in weeks i actually felt hungry yesterday  didn`t like it one bit so the salad today has no pasta in it. Hopefully that won`t happen again, i managed to keep out of the shops though.

I did manage to have a small voddie last night but no choccy, my pal at work brought me half a bottle :T couldn`t believe the timing as mine had only been finished the night before!

Need to go and tidy up as the hairdresser will be here soon, not had my hair cut properly for a couple of years as i`ve been a) growing it and b) too tight :D After that i`ll be off to work but hopefully i`ll get chance to pop back before then.

Its hammering it down here, hope the eather is nicer where you lot are!

    Have a good day peeps.

I also wondered if it was taken out of context but then thought why not say it lightheartedly on the thread instead of in a pm, it's thats whats made it more ominous for me.
One poster cant decide who can and who cant post on a thread, and even if everyone objected, it's not their choice.
If you dont like someone.. ignore them.

Lots to do today so i'd better get on with it.
  • Bitsy, you may well be right about it being a two-fingered salute, but why would someone who keeps falling off the wagon themselves send someone else a PM saying don't post on here if you're not doing LC properly?!
Lol at the reference to DT btw, it's not somewhere I choose to post but I've read some pretty hairy stuff posted in there before.

Anyway, what I didn't like about Buffy's post was the fact that she was making an accusation & hinting at who it was by saying this person kept failing with LC. Well that could mean any of us at one time or another!! Me, mazzers & alias are notorious for falling off the LC wagon, does that mean other peeps think it must be one of us?! That annoyed me.

I really don't know if Buffy was just trying to stir things up or if she was genuinely giving the salute?? Maybe I'm being too sensitive or defensive?? Tbh, I don't care anymore, I have bigger fish to fry (in Fry Light, of course ;))

Talking of which, well done on the 2lbs off daisy!! :j

    Afternoon peeps :)

Got a fair bit done, weather quite sunny so washing dried, wish i could concentrate on sorting out my eating :(

My friend who finds dieting impossible ( and drinks) has lost two stone on R Conley and is nagging me to go, i dont believe in low fat now tho coz of lc (cant justify £20+ a month either) so i shant be going but i am sooo jealous.

Am off to manchester with a mate next weekend to meet up with peeps from FB that i 'met' on mse when i first joined :)
Having two nights B&B in a nice hotel so we will do some shopping also :)

Would like to get rid of the bloat to go but dont think i can stick to lc anymore, plus, once i go out for a meal it'll be back with a vengeance anyway.

Ho hum, back to drudgery, the washing machine has just finished again..

    ...wasn't me either...
Feels a bit of a witch hunt now - I even feel guilty although I know it wasn't me. I'm feeling all sensitive and miserable today. Think it is hormonal but I just want to dive into a vat of chocolate and munch til I hit the bottom. In fact I think I can smell chocolate now. I am such a comfort eater. Comfort eating carrot sticks just isn't the same. :(

Sunnyday - weather has been really nice here (Dorset). :p

Daisy - "scales of doom" really made me laugh. They shall forever be called this now in my house. :rotfl:

See occasional posts from her on fb but nothing on here - think she had some kind of trauma that
upset her and she kind of stopped posting after that

She was a one of a kind :)
