I missed your rantings alias :D

    You're right hann, i do think you're bonkers ;)
I love being around trees too, and agree they are strong and silent, there's something really 'knowing' about trees :rotfl: they've seen a lot of history, i think they would be rather creepy at night tho.

Well done sweet, good on yer ;)
Maybe i should try it again *rolls eyes*

    Evening peeps

very late on here today :o i`ve had a mad 24 hours lol.

I stayed up last night and ended up wine making until about one thirty  the kitchen looked like someone had been murdered in it :rotfl:

I then treat myself to a couple of voddies whilst watching telly on the lappie and fell asleep on the sofa, woke up this morning and cleaned the kitchen up and set to cleaning up whilst no woofaloes were in the way.

I scrubbed everything! the doggie beds were washed, dried and put back together and i even dismantled all the paraphenalia behind the telly and cleaned it all and put it all back (hope all the wires are in the right places :D) Flloors were scrubbed and windows were cleaned and then i started in the garden and cut the grass and did some weeding. All topped off by picking 2lb of blackcurrants and some raspberries to freeze for more wine making at a later date. Scrubbed myself in the shower and then realised that i`d not eaten since yesterday

Hopped off to Asda and bought a prawn salad as i was too knackered to start making anything and i`ve just eaten it alongside half a bar of choccie.

When i got back DH and the woofaloes were home so all is well in the world, little black cat has gone back to being normal and not posessed now that the dogs are back so nice and normal again now :D

Alias - Glad to see you back, sounds like you had a smashing time. Really glad for you!

Sweet - :j:j Woohoo! well done. I`m thinking of all the nice SW food now *drools*

Hannoja - Puppaloe sounds lovely :D I love the countryside, i know exactly what you mean by the trees.

Gravity - If your reward absolutely has to be food try to find something thats not so damaging. Whilst i`m lcing i`ve found a really nice 85% cocoa bar of choccie with hardly and carbs in and thats my treat along with the occasional voddie. Really feels like i`m having something that i shouldn`t and its not too bad for me diet wise. Need to start taking more notice of the labels now though as i move over to a more SW WOE.

Bitsy - I`ve been telling myself for the last month that i`m going to excercise, the closest i`ve got to lifting DH`s dumbells is rolling them around with my foot to hoover where they`ve been :rotfl:

Gawd look at the time, i`ve not stopped for almost 16 hours and i`m not tired

Gonna look and see if there`s owt on the telly, thats if it all works :D

    Catch you all soon.

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Mad indeed SD, i used to have days like that, when you've been so busy you cant 'switch off'.. dont get them now tho, i think the less you do, the less you want to.

Actually cant switch off myself atm, the extra hours are so busy, and we are so short staffed and its rush rush rush to finish on time (hah, thats a joke) and it's hard to wind down then, hence being up at 5.30 on my day off :(

There's also Forest Holiday Cabins, some say they are good too.

They are good. I've been to Strathyre a couple of times & Deerpark in Cornwall once. It was a few years ago, before they got all posh with hot tubs!! :rotfl: We were looking at going back to Strathyre for a short break over the school hols but it's too bl00dy expensive these days!! Talking of which, hubby did a quote for Center Parcs in October & the school holiday week was 3 times more expensive than the week before!! Robbing barstewards!!

omg sweet you went and did it - well done lovie !!!! xxxx

I can't believe it either, my feet (?!) were sweating with nerves the whole time I was there, mingin' or what!! :o :rotfl:

ask anything you want but theres a great slimming world thread on here where a sw consultant posts and loads of highly knowledgeable peeps - also theres a great website here with loads of info and stuff

    http://www.minimins.com/slimming-world/

I've just had a quick look through both of them, thanks, looks like loads of good advice :D

im really proud of you xxxx

Thanks, I'm quite proud of me as well, let's hope pride doesn't come before a fall!! :rotfl:

    Morning everyone :hello:

Woke up bright & early this morning, been dreaming about SW all night & it was the first thing I thought of when my eyes pinged open at 4.45a.m.!! Think I'm a bit obsessed already!! :o

Hubby asked why I'd decided to join just before the six week hols (I have previous :o :rotfl:) & I blamed daisy!! :p Not really, my moods change like the wind at this time of the month & yesterday afternoon was one of my better times so I just thought I'd jump in with both (sweaty) feet!! :D

So, day one of SW & I feel sick, literally _pale_ Could be the rumblings of totm, tis a bit early though?? Not sure what I'm going to be eating today as I didn't read all of my info last night :o I'm hoping to make some lentil & veggie soup though, I checked & the stockcubes are 0 syns (I think that's good) so I need to look at whether the other ingredients (probably pots, carrots & red onion with red lentils) are ok. Think it depends on which plan I'm doing today  I really need to read my book!! :rotfl:

Hope everyone else doing ok today

PS. Sunny, you sound like you're running on adrenaline, slow down woman!! :rotfl: And let me know how many syns are in your HM wine ;)

PPS. We all sound like bl00dy hippies with this tree-hugging business!! Yeah man, groovy!! :rotfl:

PPPS. Sorry if I sound a bit mad this morning, tis early & I'm hormonal!! :o
  • Morning mazzers  Another early bird!!

It'll take time to get used to the extra hours (I would think) but don't be wearing yourself out!! It's not fair that you've been landed with 'shutting up shop', hopefully that's just temporary though.

Warm milk (or lactofree) at bedtime is supposed to be relaxing & helps you sleep. Although I find wine tends to have a sedative effect on me too ;)

sweet - stick with extra easy for now - till you get it straight in your mind

all you need to think is a 1/3rd of your plate with superfree foods - veg salad fruit etc
so brekkie - 1 wholemeal toast dry HEB poached egg and trimmed grilled bacon with mushrooms or fruit after
lunch salad and something tuna chicken ham cheese HEA whatever or your soup - you can now happily bulk with pulses pasta cous cous new pots
dinner well anything really pasta and salad tom type sauce meat pots and veg shep pie

then snacks - choose from superfre first so fruit really but if not from your free pages
and syns between 5-15 - a small glass of wine is 6 syns not worth it so im on the vodka fresh lime and soda - 2.5 syns but measure it out

i have a larger version of the food diaries on my pc if you want me to send you them ?

  • Morning everyone,

Sweet - I am so impressed you did it!! Now I know I have to go to RC lol!

Sunny - Wow that is a busy 24 hours!! So hows the wine coming along??

Well I am feeling a lot better today after my rubbish morning! Got home from work and decided to jump on the stepper whilst I watch a bit of CSI:NY (got the Series 5 box set as a "happy passed exam day" present:D). Suddenly realised that I had been on the stepper for 2 and 1/2 episodes which was 2hours 15 mins:eek:!!! I was rather pleased with myself but boy do my legs ache today lol!! Won't be going back on until tomorrow definetly!!:rotfl:

Now I will go and do some work and be back on later!!!

    xxx

P.S When I took the dog out last night I was listening to the wind in the trees and had a sudden image of the group hug icon with a big tree in the middle lol!!!
